I should have realized it with Hina-hime. The critical mistake of incompetent people discovered in my third year of note! (How to continue note / Essay)
Ah, I really am incompetent at work...
On note, content is important. Operations are also important.
Both are essential.
I felt like going crazy so many times because I wasn't being read at all.
Is my content really that bad?!
Isn't it just that I'm not being read in the first place?
If only my operations were a little better...
I got it. The cause. Probably.
◇ ◇ ◇
The trigger for this realization was a post that came across my X feed.
A massive note account was banned for violating terms? (Does that mean the account was frozen?)
When I searched out of curiosity, I found out it was Hina-hime.
The person who ran a huge membership called 'note University' (I wasn't a member).
Not just Hina-hime, but people with business models based on teaching others about note tend to follow people who have just started on note as quickly as possible.
I was followed by them too. However, thinking back now, there's something that bothers me. The follow came too late.
I wrote 100 articles and wasn't followed by anyone.
Evidence (↓)
Maybe I'll never be followed by anyone...Just as I was in the depths of despair, the first person to follow me was a gentleman who had retired from work.
I was truly happy at that time, and I decided to enshrine this person as my deity for life. I think Hina-hime was probably around the 5th to 10th person to follow me.
How could such a talented person...
Why didn't they become my deity?
……………………
The answer is a notification I received from note the other day.

Hmm..., 9th anniversary?
I've only been doing this for two years, right?
Wait, that's right. I created an account a long time ago.
I left it dormant without using it, and started in earnest two years ago.
......I think I get it now.
I thought I had been doing note for two years, but officially, it's been nine years.
In other words, back then, even though I was a genuine beginner, system-wise I was a seven-year veteran.
Isn't that the reason why nobody paid any attention to me---!
Because it's strange, isn't it? Writing 100 articles and having zero followers, writing 200 articles and having single-digit followers, that's strange even if you subtract my skill level.
When I started note that day, I should have created a new account instead.
Of course, from the algorithm's perspective, it would think, 'This person has been doing this for seven years and has 0 followers and 0 likes!?' and give me the worst possible rating.
I think the negative impact of that still remains today.
Thanks to everyone, my total number of likes has reached 50,000, but the evaluation for '50,000 in two years' versus '50,000 in nine years' is 4.5 times different!
Ouch, ouch, ouch.
Even if I recreate my account now, it's obvious that I'll be read even less than I am now. Rather than turning back, it's better to keep dragging this plus seven years weight behind me.
A moment of silence.
At the very least, I'll share the wisdom of my predecessors with everyone...
For those who want to review their content, or those who have had a long blank period in the middle, it might be a good idea to take the plunge and recreate your account.
It's a waste to throw away what you've built up so far. I understand that, too. Do you choose sentiment, or do you choose profit?
Please make a strategic decision.
Managing note is profound.
I've already summarized other failures, but this one might be the most damaging.

Please fill the seven blank years with likes
