【Easy, Delicious, Fast】 Xian Dou Jiang / Salty Soy Milk Soup / Dietary Health / Taiwan / Comfort Food / Diet
About 3 days ago, the prize from Momoya's instant meal contest, the "Momoya 6-Can Set," arrived.
Ta-da!✨️

Since this is the first prize I've ever received for a recipe, I'm very happy.

Now, today I'm going to use this Momoya set (Zha Cai, Chili Oil) to make a classic Taiwanese breakfast, Xian Dou Jiang.
Xian Dou Jiang is a very simple dish that you can make just by putting seasonings like black vinegar and ingredients into a bowl and pouring in warmed soy milk. The power of the vinegar makes the soy milk softly set, creating a "soup you can eat" with a smooth, wobbly texture.
It's a soy milk soup that's great for women, and its gentle flavor and texture will warm both your heart and body.
Ingredients 1 serving
Unadjusted soy milk 200cc
Vinegar 1 to 1.5 tablespoons
Soy sauce 1 teaspoon
Dried shrimp 1 teaspoon
Momoya Seasoned Zha Cai, as much as you like
Cilantro or green onions, as desired
Momoya Chili Oil, as much as you like
Instructions
1. Cover the soy milk with plastic wrap and heat in the microwave at 500w for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, until just before it boils.
2. Put the vinegar and soy sauce into a bowl.

3. Pour the warmed soy milk into the bowl all at once and let it sit (for 2 minutes). It will gradually set (do not stir).
4. Top with the ingredients and it's done.

Both the ingredients and the soup are, to put it mildly, incredibly delicious.😁
In Taiwan, it seems they eat this with You Tiao (fried dough sticks) as well.
The Xian Dou Jiang I made before
was the one where I added a baguette.
