#31 Architectural Visualization | Living with the Art of Your Beloved Car.
This time, I will introduce the interior of the exterior visualization I presented in the previous article #30 . The visualizer for this project is Mr. Matsunaga from DizzyDesign.
This shot focuses on the relationship between the garage and the living room, showing how they connect.
The composition is designed not only for spatial expansion but also to emphasize how the interior and exterior can be felt as a continuous space.
[Spatial Composition and Interior]
In this property, the garage and living room are adjacent, and the living room, which overlooks the garage through a large fixed glass window, is characterized by a configuration that allows for not only spatial expansion but also a gentle connection between the inside and outside.
It is a space designed for a slightly special living experience where you can feel your beloved car while staying indoors.
The interior is unified in dark tones, such as stone-textured walls and flooring, and a black kitchen.
While based on the same heavy material feel as the exterior, I was conscious of balancing it to suppress a sense of oppression through the way light enters and the openness of the sightlines.
For this project, only the dining table set was specified, and I left the selection of other furniture and accessories to Mr. Matsunaga.
By having him select them while looking at the entire space, the result naturally has a sense of unity.
[Design of Sightlines and Perspective]
For this shot as well, we produced it while exploring a composition that naturally conveys the relationship between the garage and the living room.
In architectural visualization, it is important not only to simply reproduce the space but also to consider the design of the sightline, such as where to stand and what to look at.
Also, as a test, we considered several angles from other directions.

However, since the concept of "enjoying your beloved car" was clear, the final camera position has not changed much from the initial stage.
I believe that where to view the space from is determined not only by technical considerations but also largely by the concept of the space.
Furthermore, although we received a request for this project based on a daytime expression, we also prototyped an evening shot while considering how to best convey the value of this property.

As lighting conditions change, the appearance of materials and the impression of the space change significantly. By verifying both daytime and evening scenes, we searched for the most attractive way to view this space.
Regarding the production of the interior visualization for this property, the visualizer, Mr. Matsunaga, has explained the production process in detail.
If you would like to see it from a more technical perspective, from reference collection to modeling, lighting, material settings, and post-production, please take a look at that as well.
[Behind the Scenes of Production]
This interior visualization was produced together with the visualizer, DizzyDesign Mr. Matsunaga.
As we proceeded with the production, we exchanged opinions frankly, including comments like "this might be a little different" or "it would be better if we did this."
I think this was a project where we were able to work together to think about how to better convey the charm of this architecture, rather than just shaping what was requested.
Also, there were many instances where he grasped the client's intentions and the nuances of the space, and I felt that we were naturally sharing things even when there were no detailed materials or parts that could not be put into words.
I feel that this accumulation of exchanges, not just the production itself, has led to the quality of the final visual.
