I received the Grand Prize in the Art and Expression category. Thank you very much.
I received the
Grand Prize in the Art and Expression category at the PolloAIxShironen Contest.
I still can't quite believe it.
First of all, to Shirono-san and Nenkoron-san, who planned and managed the event.
And to Pollo AI, for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
Thank you so much.
The entry I submitted this time was this article.
🎬 The battle scene I've always wanted to create
As the title suggests, this is an article where I challenged myself to create an anime-style battle scene that I've always wanted to do.
A Shiba Inu and an acorn face off against a giant golem in moonlit ruins.
I created that scene using Pollo AI.
The first version I made was a quiet, tense video.
I liked it for what it was.
However, as I kept watching it, I wanted to add a bit more movement.
Just a little bit more.
Whenever I find this "little bit more," I usually end up going back to it.
Even though I don't have to, I go back.
It could be more intense.
Thinking that, I made it again.
Running up slopes, kicking off walls to jump, running through rubble.
I feel like I got a little closer to the battle scene I wanted to create.
Maybe.
Including this "maybe" might just be part of who I am right now.
If it weren't for this contest, I don't think I would have created this battle scene yet.
I've always had the desire to do it.
But in the context of my usual articles or PR work, there was rarely an opportunity for it.
Where should I insert the footage of a Shiba Inu and an acorn fighting a golem?
That is true.
That is why, when I saw the Art and Expression category this time,
the feeling that 'maybe this is a place where I can submit it' was very significant.
The reason to take on the challenge that I was given.
That, first and foremost, was something I was truly grateful for.
🌿 Being seen
And, in the results announcement article, I was also very happy that the two of you had looked at my work so carefully.
In Shironoaru-san's article, you touched upon how I challenged myself with something I had kept sealed away, and how I used my own characters to express the world-building.
In Nenkoro-san's article, you touched upon how I remade the video from the first version to the second, and how I never gave up on the visuals I wanted to achieve until the very end.
For my part, I had just remade it thinking, 'I want to make it move a little more.'
But knowing that you noticed that makes me stand a little taller.
Truly, thank you very much.
🛠️ Making videos requires patience
This time, many people took on the challenge of making videos.
Making videos is fun.
But it is also a task that requires quite a bit of patience.
Things don't move the way you thought they would,
they fall apart at the last second,
or even when it feels good, for some reason, that one part bothers you.
You just want to fix one little thing, but before you know it, something else has fallen apart.
It happens.
It happens a lot.

Perhaps those of you who participated this time felt it a little, too.
When you try making something yourself, there is a difficulty that is different from just watching.
But, for that very reason, it is a joy when it moves.
And it is even more joyful when someone sees it.
Receiving likes,
receiving comments,
and having you read my articles.
Those reactions are truly a salvation for me in continuing to make videos.
This is always the case, not just for this contest.
I am able to continue on note because you all watch.
I am able to continue making videos because you all react to them.
It may seem like I am making them alone, but I probably wouldn't have continued if I were truly alone.
I am alone in front of the screen, though.
In terms of how I feel, I am not really alone.
The fact that there are people who watch.
The fact that there are people who support me.
The fact that there are people who enjoy it with me.
Thanks to that, I can think about trying to make the next one.
🏮 Time to watch the participating works
While this contest was a place to submit works, it was also a place where I could encounter the works of many different people.
Even with the same theme, what emerged was truly different.
People who create stories.
People who show them as promotions.
People who turn their own worldview into video.
It felt like everyone's "I want to try this" was lined up, and it was fun to watch.
To Shironaru-san and Nenkoro-san, who created this kind of place.
And to Pollo AI.
Once again, thank you so much.
The article announcing the results is here.
The works of all the participants are collected in this collaborative magazine.
It is a place where you can encounter not only the winning works but also a variety of other pieces.
Please do go and take a look at everyone else's work as well.
🍃 First, a word of gratitude
For the opportunity to challenge myself with an anime battle scene, something I had wanted to do but hadn't been able to until now.
For watching it.
And for always supporting me.
Everything is thanks to all of you.
Thank you so much.
Afterword
Thank you for reading this far.
I am truly happy to have achieved this result.
I love anime battle scenes, so I look forward to the next opportunity to challenge myself with one again.
Everyone, thank you so much as always!
It would encourage me if you could follow or like my work!
I look forward to your continued support!
