I'm glad I started note 🎊 - 'Kokoro Hashiru' recommended on Tales -

I started publishing my writing at the end of April.
From serializing my novel 'Kokoro Hashiru' and Ken Honda's Happy Writing Marathon,
to essays introducing the shops and people I've been involved with—.
Over these past three months, so many people have read my words.

Heartwarming comments and words of encouragement.
Each and every one of them is pushing me forward right now.
To everyone who has supported me, thank you so much.

The thoughts and voices I've received from all of you are all my treasures.

And...
Thanks to you,20,000 views and 2,000 likes!

Knowing that the words I write are reaching someone's heart
is the greatest encouragement I could ask for.

Thank you, truly, thank you so much.
I hope to continue weaving my words at my own pace.

'Kokoro Hashiru'

It is my signature work, and also my debut.
Looking back, I feel like I wrote it purely on momentum.
Despite my clumsy expression, the fact that so many people supported me—
I am simply filled with gratitude.

The people on note are so warm, and that is exactly why I was able to write this long 40-episode story to its conclusion.
There were many times I felt like giving up, but the reason I didn't stop writing was because
the feeling of 'I want to write more' and 'I want to reach more people' outweighed the pain.

It is a work I was able to finish thanks to your kindness and the joy of writing stories.

'Happy Writing Marathon'

A project by best-selling author Ken Honda where you write based on given themes—
that is the 'Happy Writing Marathon'.

Honestly, I started posting with a sense of anxiety.
However, the prompts were all so interesting that before I knew it, I was participating one after another.
By writing, I had unexpected discoveries and realizations about myself, which was very refreshing every time.

And—
On my fifth post, my article was introduced by Ken Honda himself as a 'wonderful piece'.
The joy I felt at that moment was truly like floating on air.
It seems it was so obvious on my face that even at work, people asked, 'Did something good happen today?'

Thanks to this project, I was able to meet and connect with many other writers.
And above all, I am sincerely grateful to Honda-sensei.

Tales Remake Version of 'Kokoro Hashiru'

I wanted to deliver 'Kokoro Hashiru' through a new medium called Tales—
when I thought that, I decided, 'If I'm going to do it, I'll remake it to make it easier to read.'
Keeping the core of the story, I polished the expressions and carefully rewrote it in my own way.

And I wanted to deliver the remake version not just on Tales, but on note as well,
so I added summary articles and afterwords so everyone could read it again.

Honestly, I had some anxiety, thinking, 'They already know the content, maybe they won't read it...'
But unexpectedly, so many people gave me 'likes'.
My heart trembled at the amount of support, as if you were all confirming my growth.

And to my surprise, it was even selected as a 'Recommended Work' on Tales.
Thank you so much 😭

I felt like my world was expanding further and further from note.

To the Creative Awards 2025 All-Category Division

It's not that I've gotten carried away.
I just—I wanted to submit 'Kokoro Hashiru' to the contest.
That was my sole focus.

It's not a naive feeling of 'it'll work out somehow,' and of course, I am well aware that it is a high-level contest.
But right now, I am sincerely satisfied that I was able to submit my work.
As I wrote in my essay, my dream was to be a 'novelist'.

That dream, which I had once vaguely given up on, was reconnected by note and by all of you.
Now, I am chasing that dream once again.

Thankfully, the stories I want to write continue to overflow in my head like a spring.

A work called 'Jinsei Ramen' (Life Ramen)

My 'desire to write' knows no bounds.
After 'Kokoro Hashiru' concluded, and I was about to feel a sense of 'loss' in its aftermath,
I started writing a new story.

That is—'Jinsei Ramen'.
The theme is my own youth.

Honestly, I was worried that it might confuse those who have supported me until now.
But when I asked myself, 'What is it that I really want to write right now?',
the answer that welled up from the depths of my heart was 'Jinsei Ramen'.

Character portrayals that are quiet but gradually soak in.
And a story that carefully depicts the subtleties of the heart.
That is the world I want to face right now.

Please, bear with me for the long haul.
To live up to your support, I will also draw it sincerely and with all my might.

I don't intend to be writing alone.
I want to write as if I am speaking to the other protagonist in the story, and to you who are reading this work.

Just like with 'Kokoro Hashiru,' please look forward to 'Jinsei Ramen' as well 🙇

And, if you have any improvements or advice, such as 'you should do this here,'
please don't hesitate to let me know in the comments.

The likes and comments I receive from you are my 'running energy'.
I always cherish every single word.

Thank you so much.
