Not for anyone else, but for myself ~Let's enjoy creating a space you love!~
Hello there!☆
I posted an article about interior design yesterday.
I have some more thoughts on the relationship between interior design and myself, so I'm going to write them down.
Realizing I'm wearing armor
Do you ever feel like a perfectionist, find yourself worrying about what others think, or feel like you lack self-confidence?
I feel that way quite often.
From the outside, I might look confident and strong. But that's because I'm wearing a "strong mask." I've known for a long time that I wear that mask desperately to hide my weaker self.
But then, I suddenly realized something when I looked at the interior of my home.
Interior design is fine as long as it satisfies you!
Home interior design is a world of complete self-satisfaction. Of course, I sometimes use ideas from various people as references, but in the end, I choose things that I "truly love."
And above all, since it's my own home, I don't care about anyone else's opinion!
Even if someone says, "This interior is a bit odd," I can think, "I like it, so it's fine!"
This feeling is incredibly free and comfortable.
And I felt that if I could do this more in my work and relationships, I would be much more at ease.

The feeling of being proud of what you love
In work and relationships, I sometimes find myself worrying about how others perceive me.
Like, "What will they think if I state my opinion?" or "Wouldn't it be better to just go along with it to avoid making waves?"
Of course, thanks to studying psychology, EQ, and communication, and working in a related field, I worry much less than I used to, and I've become better at handling myself. But there is still a part of me that wears armor.
In the midst of that, I was struck by something when I looked at my home's interior.
"I'm not worrying about anyone's eyes, I'm using the style I like, gathering the things I like, and decorating it just the way I want!"
"I think this is good, so it is good!"
The feeling of being able to stand tall with that thought.
I realized that this is the feeling I truly wanted.

The sense of freedom that interior design taught me
For me, it seems that interior design wasn't just a hobby, but something important that fulfills me from within.
If you also tend to worry too much about what others think or how they evaluate you, leading you to suppress your own feelings or conform to others, start by exploring what you truly love through your interior design.
I am also still enjoying the process of creating my own space, and I am in the middle of extending this sense of 'taking off my armor' and 'prioritizing myself' to my relationships and work as well. First, by creating a space where you can feel comfortable, you can fulfill yourself. That should gradually have a positive impact on your daily life and interpersonal relationships.
Let's enjoy creating a space that is uniquely yours together!
