Hello, I'm the cooking expert Flao ^^
Prices have been rising lately, but even in times like these, something that can be bought relatively cheaply and help your household budget is...

" pork bits," wouldn't you agree?
However, compared to pork belly, pork shoulder loin, or pork tenderloin, some people might find them uneven in size or low in fat, and feel that they are " hard to use..."
So, this time, I will introduce a way to cook those " pork bits " so they are very filling and delicious. It's a
budget-friendly recipe with great value, so I hope you will check it out to the end ^^
Ingredients (for 2-3 people)

Pork bits ... 300g
Potato starch, soy sauce, mirin, sake... 2 tablespoons each
Sugar... 1 tablespoon
Instructions

Transfer the pork bits into a plastic bag, add the potato starch...

While making sure the potato starch coats everything evenly, mix it inside the bag.

Take the meat out of the bag and shape it into bite-sized cubes.
Generally...

9 to 10 pieces should be formed.
Also, when shaping, press it firmly to prevent it from falling apart during cooking.

Oil (not listed, 1 teaspoon) in a frying pan (over medium heat) and sear the meat...

All sides should have a browned color...

Add the rest of the seasonings.
Once the seasonings are mixed together in the pan...

Cover with a lid and cook over medium heat.
While cooking...

To ensure the flavor soaks in evenly, flip the pieces while cooking...

Simmer and coat for about 7 to 9 minutes...

Sweet and savory aromas that whet the appetite—your " Pork Bits Kakuni-Style" is ready! ^^
By using relatively inexpensive pork bits to increase cost-effectiveness and squeezing them tightly with potato starch, you get a substantial, filling dish...

It turns into such a budget-friendly menu item ^^
This cooking method also prevents dryness, so if you have " pork bits at home," I hope you will give it a try!
