15,000 likes, thank you from across the sea

Today, I received a notification from note saying, 'Congratulations. Your articles have received 15,000 likes.'

These are pieces I've written at home in Sydney, Australia, while sitting at my computer, sometimes with coffee or a snack in hand, and sometimes without even fixing my bedhead.

It's wonderful that such records of my daily life and essays are reaching someone in Japan or abroad, and that they are pressing the 'like' button.

Thinking that someone is watching from across the sea...it's a strange and very warm feeling.

I don't write on note for the sake of 'like counts' or 'view counts,' but

'I read your article'

when I think of it as a sign of that, it feels like I'm shaking hands with many people through the screen—that's the illusion I get.

In the often lonely way of working as a freelancer,note is a place that makes me feel like I'm not alone.

I will continue to write about the small things in my daily life and my honest feelings as a freelancer, so I look forward to your continued support.

Also, I would like to express my gratitude once again to those who have supported my snack fund with tips. Thank you. It is very encouraging.
