The warmth of a body curled up at my feet, the shadows of ivy swaying by the window. Such casual scenery feels so precious to me now.

I used to be in a wind that drove me, thinking I had to achieve something. But when I suddenly relaxed my shoulders and took a deep breath, I realized that the world was surprisingly calm, and the air surrounding me was infinitely friendly.

There is no need to worry about someone else's mood, nor any need to make myself look bigger than I am. I simply allow myself to be okay in this very moment. The quiet 'me-time' I have gained this way makes me shine from within more than any jewel.

When I gently let go of the burden called worry, happiness like soft sunshine flowed into my empty hands.
