[Tsurezure Diary] Light comes from thoughts

Today is a story about "thoughts".

Today, Niji Clip, the manager of the Rainbow Creative Department to which I belong, developed a new app for creators.

Now, onto my story.

Before the cafe opens, I am thinking of setting up a few "pre-opening" sessions where I can simulate actual customer service.
This is to find any oversights or awkwardness, to get feedback, and, if I am lucky, to get a little push in the right direction.

Yesterday was the first session.

The people who came were a friend and their friend. The latter I was meeting for the first time.
Yet, strangely enough, it quickly became a comfortable space.

I received a gift for the opening, got honest and precise feedback, and received warm words.
As for me, my operations were still awkward, and I fumbled quite a bit... Still, they went along with it while laughing, and before I knew it, we were chatting, and in the end, the three of us were reading different manga, which was a slightly surreal scene.

But that time was very good.
Because what I had hoped to be a place where things like that could happen had suddenly taken shape.

In the survey, "food" and "comfort" were mentioned as good points.
That alone is more than enough of a response.

In another instance, I received an unexpectedly polite and warm reply from someone I consulted about procurement.

Various things have been mixing together over the past few days, but there is one thing I have felt clearly.

It is that these connections are made not of "interests," but of "thoughts."

For example, an easy-to-understand example of interests is money.
In the world of note, some people might feel a bit of distance from articles that put monetization at the forefront.
I myself cannot be indifferent to revenue, and I do write articles that include such elements.

However, the order is different for me.

Many of those who participate in the membership [With a Reasonable Light] are there for reasons like "I'm a fan," "I like the atmosphere," or "I owe you."

[Master's Book Selection] articles only introduce books I have on hand. It is with the feeling that I would like to support the authors I like.
I have started trying affiliate links, but honestly, there is no revenue yet. However, there was someone who actually picked up and purchased a book at a bookstore because of my introduction.
That made me very happy.

I think that is fine.

I also learned a lot about money, triggered by the crossroads of quitting my job and opening a business.
I have researched and thought about monetization methods, and I understand them in my head.

But a method that specializes in that probably cannot be continued for a long time.
It would become suffocating somewhere.

It just doesn't suit me.

It is not that money is not important, but
I cannot help but feel that 'connections with others' weigh more heavily than that.

That is why I want to start from 'feelings'.

To meet people who resonate with those feelings,
and to have them find value in that, or support me.

In our daily interactions, there are people who share their thoughts with me.
I already feel that is enough.

If revenue follows as a result beyond that,
that would be something to be very grateful for.

I would like it to be in that order.

When I touch someone's feelings,
I, in turn, want to respond with my own feelings.

I want to support, I want to repay kindness, I want to pass on even a little bit of warmth.

Of course, finding that distance is also difficult.
Because how it is received depends on the person.

Even so.
I want to live through feelings.

By the way, today I tried making 'Milpis' (Calpis mixed with milk).
It is a somewhat niche flavor that some people might want to drink forever.

I like it.
