[No. 371] I want to get rich quicklyโthe more I think about the goal, the further the answer becomes ๐น๐ฑ
"I want to get rich quickly."
When I first started investing, I thought the same thing.
If my assets increase, I can feel at ease.
Anxiety about the future will also decrease.
Of course, having money doesn't solve every problem.
Even so, I am certain that it has the power to reduce anxiety a little.
That is why I continue to build my assets.

The Equation for Increasing Money ๐๐ด
There is a well-known way of thinking about asset formation.
(Income - Expenses) ร Investment Yield
Increase income.
Reduce expenses.
Increase investment yield.
All of these are easy to say.
However, reality is not like that.
Salaries do not go up suddenly.
There is also a limit to saving.
If you seek high returns, the risk increases accordingly.
That is precisely why I believe it is important to improve these three things little by little, rather than focusing on just one.
So, how much is enough to feel secure? ๐ค๐ฐ
From here on, it gets truly difficult.
For example, there is a concept called the "4% rule."
It is one way of thinking that suggests if you withdraw about 4% of your assets each year, you may be able to maintain your assets for a long period.
So,
Is 50 million yen enough?
Is 100 million yen enough?
Do you need 200 million yen?
Once you start thinking about it, there is no end.
Where you live.
Family structure.
Pension.
Medical expenses.
Lifespan.
Prices.
No one knows the future.
That is why I think that even if you keep searching for the "correct amount," you will never find the answer.
An exit strategy is harder than an entry strategy ๐๐ฑ
Investing is harder to finish than it is to start.
When should I withdraw?
Which assets should I sell first?
How much should I spend each year?
How much cash should I hold?
The answer is different for everyone.
That is why I do not have the answer yet either.
I believe that what I can do right now is not to focus only on the exit, but first to grow my assets.
Anxiety cannot be reduced to zero ๐๐ธ
Having money does not mean that anxiety becomes zero.
Anxiety about health.
Anxiety about family.
Disasters.
Accidents.
There are things in life that cannot be solved by money alone.
Even so, there is certainly anxiety that can be reduced by having money.
That is why I think of money not as a goal, but as a tool to support my life.
Rather than the goal, cherish today ๐ฑโจ
My former self used to think,
"I want to get rich quickly."
I felt that way strongly.
But recently, my way of thinking has changed a little.
Of course, I want my assets to grow.
However,
Health.
Family.
Friends.
Travel.
Hobbies.
I have come to think that those times are just as important.
Asset building is for the future.
But life is not just about the future.
Today is also a part of life.

But happiness is not only in the future.
I believe that being able to enjoy today is also a valuable asset.
Instead of just chasing goals,
while also cherishing the present moment,
I want to continue walking my own path.
