[No. 291] Facing the Asset of Health: Investing in Your Body and Future 💪📊
I work as a physical therapist.
In my daily interactions with people facing illness and injury, I am reminded of something once again.
The value of health.
Its preciousness.
And the fact that it is not something to be taken for granted.
At the same time, I hold deep respect for those who face their situations head-on and work hard regardless of the circumstances.

👉 Cultivating the Future: Renji Enko's Investment Record of 'Trust and Entrust'

What is the asset value of health? 💪📈
Health is an 'invisible asset'.
When you are young, it is hard to realize its value.
However, as you age, that value definitely increases.
Internal organs, joints, blood vessels, muscles, and the brain.
Indicators such as blood sugar and blood pressure.
The body is made up of so many elements that the list is endless.
And many of them are difficult to restore once they break down.
That is why health is an 'asset to protect' and, at the same time, an 'asset to accumulate'.
The concept of investing in health 🏃♂️🍽️
For me, investing in health is simple.
Exercise.
Diet.
And prevention.
These are not extraordinary things.
But accumulating these 'obvious' habits is the most difficult part.
Getting a medical checkup.
Being mindful of daily meals.
Maintaining an exercise habit.

Without strain, but surely.
That accumulation leads to the future.
These are all investments in my future self.
Just like asset management,
it pays off in the long term, not the short term.
Health and Lifespan: Living Within Probabilities 🧠📊
Reality is not simple.
There are people who take care of their health but have short lifespans, while others live long lives despite risks like smoking, drinking, and obesity.
That is why this is a matter of "probability."
There are no absolutes.
There is no single correct answer.
However, there are actions that increase the odds.
It is the same as investing.
You cannot predict the future, but you can increase your expected value.
My Stance: Consistency Over Perfection 🍺🌿
To be honest, I am not a health nut.
I drink alcohol.
I eat junk food.
I have even smoked in the past.
I am not perfect.
And I think that is fine.
What is important is not whether it is zero or 100, but continuing.
It is about stacking up even slightly better choices.
The Value of Being Alive 🌏✨
Living in this current era.
I want to be grateful for that in itself.
As long as you are alive, there will be worries.
There will be frustrations.
But more than that,
there are moments when you can truly feel that you are "alive."
Those small accumulations build the value of your life.
That is why—
Along with building assets,
I continue to invest in my health.
Because, just like money,
it is something I am entrusting to my future self.
