Photo Diary | To Kameido Tenjin Shrine. Even though we walked the same path, what drew us in was different for each of us
I participated in the "Photography Session & Sharing Meeting to Capture What You 'Like' with Your Smartphone at Kameido Tenjin Shrine," hosted by Ootsu-san. Photography instructor michimag-san gave us a lecture.
Even when told, "Feel free to take pictures of whatever you like," I was a little confused at first. However, as I watched everyone stop at places that caught their eye and take photos at their own pace, I became completely relaxed.
While pointing my camera here and there, I realized once again that I love taking pictures of flowers. Flowers and block walls, flowers and their shadows, the atmosphere of a back alley.
Every time I find a scene I want to capture, I can't help but stop in my tracks.

The sharing session afterward was also a very fun time. Even though we were supposed to be walking in the same place, the scenes we captured were so different. It was to the point where I wondered, "Did I even walk through a place like this?"
Cherishing your sense of unease.
Subtraction, not addition.
Unlike drawing a picture, it is you who moves.
The words I was taught only began to take on meaning once I had walked around, taken photos, and was on my way home.
Looking at everyone's photos, it was interesting to see how the direction of our sensibilities differed, and I felt very inspired.
Before I knew it, time had flown by.
I felt like my perspective had changed, even for the bustling crowd on the way home.
Thank you very much for this opportunity!
I will also introduce the photos where I captured what I "like."
I would be happy if you could enjoy the atmosphere of the downtown area.

(Postscript)
Being confused when told to "take pictures of whatever you like." The words I was taught. It reminded me of the time I spend writing notes. I hope to enjoy my own version of "what I like" when taking photos as well.
I thought that "take pictures of whatever you like" is similar to writing.
Thank you for reading until the end.
I look forward to your continued support!
