[Poem] A Rainy Afternoon

A quiet afternoon

Lured by the gentle sound of rain

Taking a break under the tree

The droplets sliding off the leaves

Wash away the restlessness of my heart

And the world softly blurs

Beyond the curtain of rain

Everything feels a little more distant

For now, even time pauses its steps

As I take a deep breath

The moist air

fills my heart

A small happiness gently begins to sprout

A moment of sheltering from the rain

My heart, too, finds quiet peace
