[Complete Anatomy] What is the key to next-generation infrastructure, 'LOOP'? Explaining the 'reality of trading' at the institutional investor level

However, where you walk with that wallet (the network environment you connect to) is completely different.
MetaMask is like carrying a leather wallet stuffed with cash and walking around a 'lawless flea market (public chain)' where anyone can do business with their face hidden. While anyone can connect freely, on the other hand, if you take one wrong step, you are constantly at risk of connecting to a malicious scam site and having your entire balance drained just by making one wrong signature.
On the other hand, 'LOOP' is like a safe with a dedicated passport for entering a super-secure 'membership-only private financial market (Canton Network)' that only large corporations and institutional investors who have passed strict identity verification (KYC) can enter.
The Canton Network that LOOP connects to is a 'secure network where the identities and rules of participants are guaranteed.' Therefore, there is no room for dangerous apps (malicious smart contracts) created by unknown hackers or scammers to enter.
And what is traded within this secure market is not suspicious digital data like 'shitcoins.'

So, what kind of transactions actually take place when you open LOOP? Let's compare real-world transactions with transactions on LOOP, using a '500 million yen revenue apartment building in the city center,' which is familiar to investors, as an example.

Just the brokerage fees alone cost tens of millions of yen, and a huge amount of 'time' is wasted. Also, conventional securities and financial markets have had restrictions on business hours, and there was an 'infrastructure constraint' where trading stopped on weekends and at night.
▼ Transactions using LOOP (the reality of the next generation) Suppose the ownership (or revenue rights) of this apartment building exists as a 'digital token' on the secure Canton Network. You open 'LOOP.' On the screen, the '500 million yen worth of digital dollars (USDC, etc.)' you hold and the 'apartment token' the other party holds are displayed.

On LOOP, you execute a smart contract (automatic contract program) that says, 'I will exchange my 500 million yen worth of digital dollars for your apartment token'.
At that moment, what happens? 'The funds being transferred to the other party' and 'the apartment token arriving to you' are executed [simultaneously] without a second of error. (This is technically called DvP, or 'atomic settlement'.)
The settlement time lag (time gap) that used to take weeks disappears, and the process is completed in 'T+0 (instant settlement).' The risk of 'paying money but not having the property handed over (being run off with)' becomes [physically zero] within the system.
Expensive brokers, waiting times for judicial scriveners, and complicated bank procedures are unnecessary. On the LOOP screen of your smartphone or PC, 500 million yen worth of real assets move from anywhere in the world, at lightning speed, and with absolute security with a single tap.
And behind this 'next-generation securities and asset market that never sleeps, 24/7/365', Calypso, the core system of the massive financial institution acquired by Nasdaq, is already integrated with the Canton Network.
