Looking Back at January 2026
─ A Month at Customer Cloud ─
Events from January 1 to January 31, 2026
For Customer Cloud, January 2026 was a month where we truly felt
the field operations beginning to move in a big way.
In this article,
as someone who was on the front lines every day,
I will look back on the events and the atmosphere of this past month.

as well as interactions within our chats.
January 1 | A Year That Began with the New Year's Impressions Campaign
On January 1, along with the start of the new year,
we launched the New Year's Impressions Campaign.
This initiative involved taking New Year's messages from prominent individuals and those who requested them,
turning them into avatar videos using their own "voice" and "face,"
and distributing them on platforms like X.
It was incredibly exciting.
"I didn't know you could do things like this,"
"That's really my voice!"
We received many voices of surprise and feedback.
I believe this was an impressive initiative that,
rather than just being a campaign,
naturally conveyed that the era has arrived where such avatar videos
can be used for internal company messages and manuals.
The participants included influential people, such as mayors,
making it an event where we truly felt
"this is something that is truly needed."

are being distributed on X and TikTok.
First Half of January | A Company Where People Are Visible
In January, introductions of our members continued on PR TIMES.
What kind of people are here, and with what thoughts?
Being able to properly communicate that to the outside world was very significant.
At the same time, we changed the Customer Cloud logo and
renewed our official website.
It became a very easy-to-understand site that firmly incorporated the concept of "From Shibuya to the World,"
and it became a form that conveys our current direction
to both those outside and us inside the company.
Internally, we created profile images and texts to get to know our members, and prepared materials to learn about each other,
which naturally led to more time spent closing the distance between us.

We would be happy if you could follow us and check them out.
Morning meetings, a precious time
The morning meetings that have been continuing since last November
have felt like an even more precious time since entering January.
Sharing thoughts, laughing, and debating.
Members who were far away came to Shibuya,
and the time we spent meeting face-to-face for the first time increased.
The joy of actually meeting people
with whom I had only communicated via messages is truly special.

We are always right next to the space bustling with young people.
Development and sharing proceed simultaneously
In January, development continued to progress steadily.
Every time something new is born,
we consider how to use it, how to convey it, and how to spread it.
While having thorough discussions when necessary,
we continued to spend time organizing things one by one.
After meetings,
meeting minutes that are understandable not just through text but also visually are shared immediately,
creating an environment where anyone can understand what is currently being discussed.

Necessary groups are created in Lark,
and information is constantly shared there.
January, when people started to gather
January was truly a month
where new people visited us almost every day.
Individuals, companies, and organizations.
Whether online or in person,
the number of people interested in us, saying "I want to hear your story" or "I want to see what you are doing,"
gradually increased.

seeing the screen in person is the best way.
A new trend called seminars
Starting this January, we also began hosting online seminars.
These are very lively seminars, broadcast in real-time on YouTube and delivered from our office in Miyashita Park.
For the first session, despite the short notice, over 200 people registered.
The second and third sessions focused on security in the age of AI and AGI, attracting interest from professionals at major corporations.
The perception of AI-powered products is shifting from 'things to build' to 'things to choose and use immediately.'
On the other hand, security in the age of AI and AGI is more vulnerable to 'gaps' than ever before, and looking at actual incidents, I strongly feel the importance of having mechanisms in place to prevent them in advance.

Mid-month and beyond | The energy of the space changed
From around mid-January, the morning space has been consistently near capacity.
It has become a very open place where laughter and discussions echo, and people who want to listen naturally gather.
We even had a world-renowned AI artist visit Shibuya, and we had time to talk in person.

From development-focused to the next phase
In the latter half of January, the atmosphere gradually shifted from a phase centered on development to one conscious of how we deliver and engage with those around us.
Each person takes on the role they excel at, while collaborating where necessary. That way of working is naturally taking shape.
Because we see each other every day, I feel that we are naturally getting in sync.
Summit in Shibuya
This January,
we also held a four-day accommodation summit in Shibuya.
Members from far away gathered,
a time to talk, laugh, and think a lot.
Even without traveling far,
there are things that are born just by gathering in the same place
It was a time that made me feel that once again.

participate in the summit.
The partners who participated are doing great work right now!
After finishing January
Through photos and real voices,
we value conveying
what Customer Cloud is like right now.
January was
speed, people, place, and connections.
It was a month where we could truly feel all of that.
Moving forward,
I hope to continue conveying these daily accumulations
in a clear and careful way.

Look forward to the February report as well.
Finally | A little note from January

Recently, something that has been secretly becoming a topic within the company isyellow pads.
Triggered by the vice president using them,
time spent "thinking while writing" instead of on a computer has increased.
The number of members who have yellow pads is gradually increasing.

In the workspace I use every morning,
the fact that the menu is gradually increasing is actually a secret pleasure.
Perhaps out of concern for our health, new drinks are being added.
Such small considerations support our daily concentration.
(Large portions of rice and pasta are the current trend)

During our morning time, we don't just talk about work;
the conversation often expands to topics like
"Why did this work?"
or "Why did this reach people?"
Before we know it, it naturally becomes a time for learning.

Taking photos has also become an important habit of mine recently.
It's not about special staging,
but simply capturing the atmosphere of the day as it is.
When I look back at them later,
they serve as important records that help me remember, "Oh, we were talking about this at that time."

Thank you for always reading.
I will continue to share our Customer Cloud initiatives
regularly from a field perspective.
Please look forward to the next update.
