[Music Review] Heart-Fluttering Anime Songs Part 3
My list of favorite anime songs has been updated quite a bit, so I'd like to summarize them.

Although some of these overlap with what I've introduced before, I'd like to focus on the ones I've been listening to lately.
I'll add descriptions so you can tell if they're in your preferred genre.

◎ "Nero" by Sou
The opening theme for "Dead Mount Death Play".
Since the protagonist is a necromancer, it's a song with a dark tone that fits the world, along with complex rhythms and melodies.
Fast-paced development, intricate melodies, rapid-fire lyrics... emotions that swell in the chorus... I guess this is a modern-sounding track.

◎ "SPECIALZ" by King Gnu
The opening theme for "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 2, "Shibuya Incident" arc.
It has a relatively slow rhythm but is a powerful song.
It's stylish, isn't it?
The visuals are also cool. Even just walking looks cool.
I love the part of the video with the hand sign motifs.

◎ "more than words" by Hitsujibungaku
The ending theme for "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 2, "Shibuya Incident" arc.
It's an emotional song with impressive guitar phrases. The vocals are amazing.
It's a voice that really pushes at your heart, isn't it?
It's unfair that the anime visuals are so slice-of-life.
It's unfair for the ending of a story about a life-or-death struggle to have this kind of presentation...

◎ "Shayou" by Yorushika
This is the opening theme for "The Dangers in My Heart".
It is a song that makes you feel the freshness of youth. Within that, it is also a melancholic song that seems to contain a bit of the protagonist's inner darkness.

◎ "Ray" by PassCode
This is the opening theme for the Japanese version of the Chinese anime "TO BE HEROINE".
I wonder if PassCode is an idol group.
It is a fast-paced, intense rock song. It probably isn't their own voices, but there are even death growls included.
It is quite a chaotic anime, but I feel the Japanese version of the opening theme fits that atmosphere better than the Chinese version.

◎ "spiral" by LONGMAN
The opening theme for "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2".
It is an emotional rock song.
The male and female twin vocals are really great.
In this season of "Mushoku Tensei," the protagonist, Rudy, suffers from emotional trauma and becomes impotent, and the story follows him as he attends a magic academy to overcome it.
We viewers have been watching his journey since he was a baby, and by this point, Rudy has already become like a son to us.
The process of him struggling to regain himself and opening new doors is somehow very moving.
That is why I think this opening song is truly a masterpiece.

◎ "Kenka" by Yumemi Kujira feat. Mimizuku & Fukurou
The opening theme for 'Reign of the Seven Spellblades'.
It's a high fantasy story set in a magic school with dungeons underground, but it has a strangely heavy atmosphere, and this opening feels like a perfect match for that.
The vocals are super cute, yet it's a hardcore fantasy song.

◎ 'Song of the Dead' by KANA-BOON
The opening theme for 'Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead'.
It's an upbeat rock song that would really get a crowd going at a festival. Has there ever been such an upbeat zombie show before? lol
The protagonist is delightfully unhinged. It's a masterpiece that perfectly synchronizes with the atmosphere of the anime.

◎ 'Crack-Crack-Crackle' by CLASS:y
The opening theme for 'Undead Murder Farce'.
It's an 80s-style pop song. It's sung by a Korean girl group. Since it's a monster detective story set at the end of the 19th century, the vibe of this song fits strangely well.

It's a dreamy song in triple time. It has a fantasy feel with a hint of antique charm.

◎ "Merry-Go-Round" by MAN WITH A MISSION
Opening theme for the second cour of My Hero Academia Season 5.
A song that feels perfect for a story about boys and girls who aspire to be heroes. It is a cool rock track with heavy guitar sounds.
By the way, I am a fan of the Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki trio. Also, I am a fan of Kaminari and Jiro.
If you watch it thinking it's just a story about a hero school, things start to get strange, and quite intense developments await.

Opening theme for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2.
It is an opening that fits perfectly into a world where you wonder who is sane and who is crazy... it feels like everyone is a bit mad. It is a relatively intense rock song.
I had only watched the original Gundam, Zeta Gundam, and Char's Counterattack, so I had a long break before watching The Witch from Mercury, but it was really good. I think it firmly depicted quite heavy themes, such as having the first female protagonist in the series, the fact that it is corporations rather than nations waging war, and the existence of inequality and discrimination based on the region of birth.

Ending theme for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2.
A song where you are captivated by the vocals. It is a song to listen to for the singing. I wonder if it is a ruin-type song.

◎ "Antinomy" by amazarashi
The ending theme for "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a".
This song is incredible for a story about android protagonists.
Even though the voice doesn't sound human, the way emotions overflow in the chorus is so emotional. It's rock.
Since it's an anime with such cool visuals, I really want you to listen to it along with the video.
As an AI enthusiast, this song is irresistible to me.
◎ "Saihate" by SennaRin
The ending theme for "BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War".
It's a song with a serious vibe that has a 90s feel.
It's a long series depicting the battles of the Soul Reapers.
The protagonist is quite stoic, so it might fit the atmosphere well.
◎ "Violence" by Queen Bee
The ending theme for episode 11 of "Chainsaw Man".
It's danceable rock.
It was a crazy production where every episode had a different song and different visuals.
They were all masterpieces, but I'll list a few of my favorites from them here.

It's a rock song with many developments. It's super cool. It's stylish.

This is the ending theme for episode 8 of "Chainsaw Man".
It's quite noisy rock. It's gross and awesome.

This is the ending theme for episode 3 of "Chainsaw Man".
It might actually be the most "Chainsaw Man"-like song.
Intense rock... and an angel's voice. No... a devil's voice...?
◎ "TIT FOR TAT" by MYTH & ROID
This is the opening theme for "Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious".
It's a comedy fantasy about a goddess summoning a hero to fight, but the song is super heavy metal and it's awesome.
◎ "SLUMP -Japanese ver.-" by Stray Kids
This is the Japanese ending theme for the Korean anime "Tower of God".
It's a song by a Korean boy band.
It's a story where boys and girls engage in a pretty brutal death game, and as you empathize with the protagonist, the sound of the guitar in this song makes your heart ache.
Super emotional.
The vocals are processed to sound a bit robotic, which links up with the mysterious existence of the "Tower of God" and gives me chills.
They are all handsome and great singers.
◎ "Irregular God" by Kevin Penkin
The soundtrack for "Tower of God" is also insane.
The Tower of God is unfathomable. It just towers there.
This song captures that atmosphere incredibly well.
The soundtrack for this anime is also quite impressive, so please give it a listen if you are interested.
