Deck Introduction [Athanasia]
Introduction
Hello, I am Kamishoo (@kamishooo20000).
This is my 8th deck introduction article.
Also, I have posted a duel video using the prototype of this deck so I would be happy if you could watch it along with this article.
If you like, please check out my previous deck introduction as well.
Inspiration and Concept for the Build
The card I focused on this time is "Invitation of the Delta".

① Sending Undead to the Graveyard
② Token generation
③ Self-recovery
The concept is to fully utilize these three effects to line up large Synchro and Fusion monsters.

Deck Recipe
First, let's start with the deck recipe.

[Initial Moves (Accessing Invitation of the Delta)]
First, here are the initial moves that also provide access to Delta.
This is done using Blue-Eyes initial moves into Ancient Fairy Dragon.
(Starting from Sage or Maiden)
* Kaiser Sea Horse can also perform a similar combo.
The reasons for adopting the Blue-Eyes gimmick are as follows:
・ "Mausoleum of White" used in the initial combo can provide an additional Level 1 LIGHT Tuner alongside the Delta Token.
・ Securing costs for Eldlich revival using the Mausoleum's graveyard effect.
・ Delta token generation enabled by Eldlich's presence.
・ Securing Tuners through the mutual recovery of Sage and Priestess.
・ Access to "Fusion" via Abyss Dragon of the White Blue *described later
The flow of the initial combo is here.

The status of the graveyard and hand is as follows.

Secure the following resources:
・ Invitation of the Delta
・ Eldlich the Golden Lord
・ Fusion (← Abyss Dragon of the White Blue)
・ Bystial Lubellion
・ Level 1 LIGHT Tuner (Sage)
・ Chaos Beast (Graveyard)
・ Blue-Eyes related cards
The bounce effect of Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres is used to bounce "True Light" to avoid its drawback.
→ If you chain Hieratic Seal ① and True Light ② to revive Blue-Eyes, you can bounce while applying the effect.
[Utilizing Invitation of the Delta]
From the mid-game onwards, I utilize Delta to line up large monsters via Synchro or Fusion depending on the situation.
Below, I have summarized the usage methods by topic.
[Synchro]
This is the main usage method in this deck.
Since Sage and Priestess can mutually recover each other, you can secure a Tuner every turn.

[Mutual Recovery of Sage & Priestess]
① Search for Priestess with Sage
② Recover Sage from the graveyard with Priestess *The turn after ①
③ Return itself to the deck with the Priestess's graveyard effect
*Returns to ①
The Delta Token has excellent stats as a Level 5 DARK Undead monster, so I expand the plays by combining it with the blue Tuners for the following Synchro summons.

[Fusion]
I aim for a standard Fusion Summon of Golden Lord.
Since Golden Lord has immunity to destruction by effects, it serves as a defensive cornerstone that mitigates the board wipe drawback of True Light.

Since I can secure Fusion from the initial Blue-Eyes of Abyssal, I secure Fusion materials by combining it with Delta Token, Changshi, etc.
A properly Fusion Summoned Golden Lord can be revived by Angelcaid.

I aim to reuse the used Angelcaid by banishing it with Beast or Branded Regained and returning it to the Extra Deck.

I have adopted Evil Knight Dragon as a means to send Angelcaid to the Graveyard. Since it is a Dragon-type, the fact that it can also be recovered from the Graveyard with Magnamhut is a plus.

[Various Costs]
I utilize Graveyard recovery to use as costs for 'White Woods'. I touch 'White' with Luciela from Delta Token + Blue Tuner (Level 1).

Deck Components
1. Blue-Eyes

The foundation of the deck. Since 'Blue' can supply a Tuner every turn, it has a role not only in the opening but also in the mid-to-late game.
2. Undead

Since Delta and Immortal can touch Undead in the deck, I have narrowed the selection to cards that are easy to play a role in combination with the above.
Since many of them have revival/return effects, I like that the Undead gimmick works even with a small number of cards.
3. White Woods

I access White by going through Luciela from Delta Token + Blue Tuner. It is also great that even if you start from the White side, you can touch Blue-Eyes via 'White Maiden' from Luciela.
The Three-String Cat & Diabell combo mentioned later is the role, so it is adopted in minimum numbers.
4. Bystial (Banish Gimmick)

it is essentially Undead.
The main roles are as follows, so it is adopted in minimum numbers.
- Recovering Evil Knight with Magnamhut
- Recovering banished Angelcaid with Branded Regained or Chaos Beast
- Banishing Changshi with Beast to trigger the return effect
Other Combos
[Three-String Cat x Diabell]

By using Asteria, which was revived by triggering a Spell/Trap cost, plus a Blue tuner, I Synchro Summon Sangen Cat. Then, by using Sangen Cat and a Δ Token to Synchro Summon Diabell, I aim for the Sangen Cat & Diabell Spell/Trap recovery gimmick.
I want to use Diabell to recover the Burst Stream of Destruction that I used as a cost in the initial play.
[Sangen Cat & Diabell Loop]
*Spell/Trap recovery occurs when Diabell is Synchro Summoned
1. Synchro Summon Diabell using Sangen Cat as material
2. Return Diabell to the Extra Deck to revive Sangen Cat
3. Synchro Summon Diabell using Sangen Cat + Δ Token
-> Sangen Cat is banished due to its drawback
4. Return the banished Sangen Cat with Diabell's effect
[Sangen Cat x Ultimate Spirit Dragon]

I aim to Synchro Summon Ultimate Spirit Dragon using Blue-Eyes (Level 8) + Sangen Cat (Level 3) + Blue tuner (Level 1).
If you Special Summon Sangen Cat with Diabell's second effect and use Sangen Cat's Accel Synchro effect during the opponent's Main Phase to Synchro Summon Ultimate Spirit Dragon, it's sure to get exciting.
Other Cards
◆ Illusion Eye

- Maiden and White are easy to put on the board, making the activation conditions easy to meet.
- Recover it with Diabell to create interactions during the opponent's turn.
- A factor to avoid checkmate through battle between opponents when facing monsters with super-resistance.
◆ Battle Stun Sonic

- Included because there are many key tuners for the deck, such as White Maiden, Mad Murder, and Sylvi.
In Conclusion
This was an introduction to a Reiwa-era Chaos Undead Synchro deck; what did you think?
As a side note, while this deck has the power to deploy large monsters, the only card that interferes with the opponent's turn is basically Felgrand (Dragon Lord). (Ultimate Spirit Dragon is not counted as it is difficult to bring out.)

Since recent cards have many effects that interfere with the opponent, I try to adjust the power level by limiting the number of interference cards at the deck-building stage.
This deck is based on the concept of large monsters reviving repeatedly, so it becomes a battle of whether the opponent can break through. (Truly acting like a villainous boss.)
[Deck Name]
The deck name is "Athanasia".
Athanasia is a name derived from the Greek 'A' (not) + 'thanatos' (death), meaning immortality (undying).
I named it with the image of Undead, including Eldlich, that revive over and over again.
My other created decks can be found on Neuron by searching for "Kamishow Recipe", so please take a look if you'd like.
Thank you to everyone who read this far!
