#328: Efficiency is digital, peace of mind is face-to-face. Going all-in on 'new encounters' with the margin created by AI.

I am currently in Ogaki, Gifu Prefecture.

Today, February 25th, is my consultation day at Gaki-Biz (Ogaki Business Support Center). To everyone who made a reservation, thank you very much.

I am looking forward to meeting you all in person and facing your raw, real-world challenges.

And on February 26th, I will be speaking about my personal approach to utilizing AI.

In yesterday's article, I talked about using AI as a 'mirror to visualize thoughts' in order to devote all of my brain's energy to creativity.

Today, I would like to write about what I was thinking about while traveling yesterday: 'What am I investing the time freed up by AI into?'

1. Do not trust your own willpower. A mechanism to 'keep yourself moving'.

To be honest, I consider myself a person with a habit of slacking off. If left alone, I would drift toward the path of least resistance. I understand that about myself with cold, hard clarity.

That is precisely why I manage the gas station I own in Toyama fully remotely, and have 'systematized' all tasks and routines that I can grasp using AI and other systems.

Rather than 'wanting to take it easy with AI,' I use technology to create a state where 'I don't have to slack off.' I then invest the 'time margin' and 'brain energy margin' created this way into a travel schedule that takes me out of my Yokohama base and to various locations.

Instead of just 'moving,' I am 'trying to move myself' to discover new possibilities using these mechanisms.

That is my reality.

2. Going all-in on 'new encounters' with the margin.

I have had experiences abroad in the past, but to be honest, I am not particularly fond of traveling abroad, nor do I have a refined sense for going around eating delicious food.

My main focus is not on where I go, but on 'who I am with and what I am doing'.

If you stay in the same place, with the same people, in the same environment, it becomes difficult to come up with new ideas. Especially for someone like me, even if I consciously try to think of new things, my thoughts quickly stagnate.

That is why I am going all-in on 'new encounters' with all the time and brain energy I have worked hard to compress through full-remote management.going all-in on 'new encounters'.

Based in Yokohama, I travel with agility anywhere in the country—Tokyo, Kanagawa, or this time, Gifu and Toyama—whenever I receive an offer.

By simply following my schedule, I place myself in an environment where I meet new people, engage in dialogue, and chemical reactions 'happen automatically'.

This environmental design is, for me, an investment in new possibilities.

3. 'Face-to-face' as an element of peace of mind for the other party.

To be honest, for me as the one receiving consultations, there is not much difference in the information I can provide between online and face-to-face.

However, I feel that for those who come for consultations or attend my lectures, my physical presence is a 'major element of peace of mind'.

You cannot see your own face without a mirror. Your own mind is the same. Facing someone in person, feeling their expressions and energy while exchanging words.

Only with that 'sense of security' can people reveal their true worries deep in their hearts or the passion they hadn't even realized themselves.

I leave 'efficiency' to digital, and I move myself to deliver 'peace of mind'.

I am going all-in on this 'investment for chemical reactions that only humans can do' with the margin created by AI. This is the ultimate goal of DX as I see it.

4. February 25th and 26th. Let's meet in Ogaki.

Today's face-to-face consultation on the 25th, and tomorrow's seminar on the 26th.

I will share how to further accelerate the passion of turning 'individual' worries into regional strength—which I felt in Takaoka—using digital as a weapon.

In tomorrow's seminar on February 26th, I will talk about the behind-the-scenes of my concrete 'execution OS,' specifically how I actually breathe 'personality' into AI and focus my own brain on creative activities.
