Hakodate is a place with special meaning for us as a couple, and it is a favorite destination we have visited many times in the past. The main reasons for this are that you can enjoy fresh and delicious seafood at reasonable prices, and the historical tourist spots and beautiful natural scenery are compactly arranged, allowing for efficient sightseeing—in other words, it has 'great travel cost-performance.' These realistic ways of enjoying travel and economical tips are also utilized in the story.

📘 Work Overview

Torako and Hitoshi visit Hakodate. Excited for their first trip in a while, they planned a peaceful sightseeing tour to visit beautiful streets and gourmet spots. However, immediately after arriving at the airport, they happen to witness a man and woman acting suspiciously, and their daily lives begin to spiral in an unexpected direction.

The next morning, a murder occurs at a hotel in the city, and because the suspicious man and woman they saw the day before emerge as suspects, Torako and Hitoshi unexpectedly find themselves at the center of the case. Who is an ally and who is an enemy? While being tossed about by mysteries revealed one after another and unpredictable developments, Torako and Hitoshi summon their courage and approach the truth of the case step by step.
