Apparently, cardio before breakfast is effective. But there are bears outside ๐ป | Diet Diary
๐ -0.1kg from yesterday
๐ -0.9kg since the start (6/27)
My trainer once told me that cardio before breakfast is recommended. Like a morning walk, for example.
Just as I got motivated, there were reports of bear sightings in the city...๐ป So, I gave up on morning walks and decided to do Marina Takewaki's home workouts indoors instead. I managed to get in some solid cardio before breakfast again today! I've got a slight muscle ache now ๐ช
...I blamed it on the bear, but to be honest, I might just not want to wake up early. lol
Marina Takewaki's videos sometimes have some super tough ones, so I'm scared and tend to stick to the same ones ๐
And that's why I'm still feeling a dull muscle ache today.

Summer strawberry fresh egg pudding a la mode + boiled egg.
A reward dessert first thing in the morning ๐ My style is not to deny myself dessert, but to balance it out throughout the day.

Tuna mayo hot sandwich + coffee.
The same menu wasn't in Calomeal, so I recorded it as '2 slices of bread + tuna mayo'. The contents are the same ๐

Chicken breast dry curry + sweet corn + Oikos (peach).
This is a dry curry made with red-can curry powder, using no roux or salt. It's easy to make:
ใปSautรฉ ginger and garlic to release the aroma
ใปAdd minced onion and shimeji mushrooms, then the chicken breast, and coat with curry powder
ใปAdd chopped fresh tomatoes and sautรฉ while letting the moisture evaporate to finish
With the acidity of the tomatoes, the umami of the shimeji mushrooms, and the aroma of the ginger and garlic, it becomes a proper curry even with zero salt. Surprisingly, the total salt intake for the day was 1.95g. That's a number you wouldn't expect for a day I ate curry โจ
The sweet corn was grown by a friend.
It's incredibly sweet and delicious, and they send it to my house every year ๐

I cleared my protein goal of 70g, and the calories landed perfectly too. Even having pudding in the morning can keep things balanced ๐
And next week, we have an all-you-can-eat kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) dinner planned at my husband's request (a late Father's Day celebration). What is a diet...? It's too scary ๐จ But it's okay, I'll align my weekly high-carb day with that day, and instead of just enduring it, I'll incorporate it into my plan!
What kind of morning exercise do you all do? If you have any recommended home workout videos, please let me know in the comments ๐ป
Likes and follows are also encouraging! I'm looking for friends to work hard with ๐
