【Life Hacks and the Practice of Tanka】 6 "True Life Hacks" Derived from 300,000 Clinical Cases

When you are conscious of tasks or what you need to do in your daily life, you are using your brain's resources.
However, those resources have limits, and when you exceed those limits, your work performance declines.
The capacity of those resources is called cognitive resources.
In daily life, it seems that we are overusing these cognitive resources, leading to increased stress.
To avoid wasting cognitive resources, it is important to reduce the number of things you have to do (^^)
To that end, it is said that it is good to categorize your massive to-do list into the following three categories.
■ "Do Now" to-do list
■ "Do Soon" to-do list
■ "Someday" to-do list
While it would be great to make these habits, it is important to establish the following three things to save cognitive resources and reduce mental distress, so please try to be conscious of them.
① Reduce the number of things you have to do as much as possible
② Reduce the number of things you need to remember (prospective memory) as much as possible
③ Ensure you complete only your routine work
However, since it is important to use life hacks that suit you, I think you should choose the methods that are easiest for you rather than trying to fit yourself into what is presented (^^)
Now, for those who want to think about what life hacks are,
"You who read me, are you sure you understand my language?" (from J.L. Borges' "The Library of Babel")
I will introduce concrete examples of hacks combined with the practice of Tanka, which I think could be called the repetition of presenting a way of life in the first person (self-creation). Will you be driven into a daily world where such a way of life (hacks) is considered desirable?
Please check it out (^^)
1. Is that health method optimized for the whole?
2. Do you understand the risks of that medication?
3. Do you chew each bite at least 30 times?
4. Do you drink water one hour before meals?
5. Do you take frequent 5-minute naps?
6. Can you continue that exercise while enjoying it?

I want to let flexible words accompany every part of human activity, such as walking, eating, working, and sleeping. (From Noriko Kamimura's 'Open String', 'Afterword')

September has come and sleep is delicious, all day long I curl up, unhinging my spine.
Early afternoon when the snails are napping, in the shade of the leaves, the plums slowly ripen.
Mokuseido in Yukinoshita, Kamakura City, a vermilion seal glows on the colophon of an old book.
When I take off my sweater, stretching out both arms, the winter bulb is firm.
If there is a voice like the ripening of fruit, I am the water that fills and settles.
