Let's try this during summer vacation!! How to use today's mission sheet
In the summer of 2025,
today's mission sheet was a huge hit in our home!
To save on ink,
I made a black and white version🤭✨✨
The "Today's Mission Sheet" is a sheet
for children to enjoy while working on
learning, helping out,
and daily habits.
[How to use]
1. Print in A4 size
There are 4 uses on one sheet of paper.
Please cut it into 4 pieces along the dotted lines to use.
If you print 2 sheets first, you can try it out 8 times.

2. Think of 9 missions
Inside the square frames,
write the missions you want them to work on that day.
Instead of making everything difficult,
I recommend including a good balance of
simple things that can be done right away,
things that require a little bit of effort,
things related to learning,
and things related to helping out or daily habits.
Mission examples
Draw a circle with a pencil
Count from 1 to 20
Write your own name
Read one picture book
Write a shopping list
Helping out / Daily habits
Line up your shoes
Fold the laundry
Prepare your school lunch or school items
Put away your toys
Carry the dishes
Including things your child can already do
will make it easier for them to take the first step ☺️
3. Write your name and the date
It is okay for an adult to write it at first.
Once they get used to it,
have your child write their name and the date too.
Writing their name and numbers
is also natural pencil practice.
4. Mark the missions you completed
Once a mission is done,
put a mark in the square.
A flower stamp
a sticker
a hand-drawn flower mark
a checkmark in their favorite color
Please use a method that your child will enjoy.
It is okay if you cannot do them all ☺️
Even just one is fine.
The key is to properly acknowledge what you were able to do.
5. Count the number of completed tasks
Finally,
count the number of missions you were able to achieve
and write it in the "Number of completed tasks" column.
It also serves as practice for counting numbers,
and leads to a sense of accomplishment,
thinking, "I was able to do this much today!" 🙌
Tips for continuing in a fun way
For missions, prioritize working on them carefully
rather than finishing them quickly.
On days when your child isn't feeling up to it,
it's okay not to force them.
There is no need to do it every single day.
Even once a week, or just one task, is enough.
If adults start saying "Do it!"
you will both end up exhausted.
Make it the number one rulethat
both adults and children can enjoy the process.
What you can expect by continuing
It becomes a trigger for taking initiative
The things you can do will gradually increase
Helps build habits and learn how to help out
Provides practice for writing with a pencil
Develops counting skills
Builds a sense of accomplishment from saying "I did it!"
Leads to increased confidence and motivation for children
By simply calling them "missions,"
they become easier to approach like a game or play.
Please try using them at the child's own pace,
without pressure and in a fun way😊
