A Personal Reflection on the Worldview of Bruno Schulz and Reproduction Technology
Traditionally, photography (prints) and printing technology are the crystallization of techniques that cut out and reproduce a portion of reality onto blank paper, as if the truth (photography = capturing the truth) were present.
This also applies to film and video.
We imagine the microcosm glimpsed in a bundle of light from nothingness with our brains, and then re-shape and perceive it.
To me, these are just like the "worldview of Bruno Schulz."
Bruno Schulz. Glimpse ......... Cinnamon color of the tow
And it will continue, over and over again, from here on...
Bruno Schulz. Glimpse ... Cinnamon color of the town.
About Bruno Schulz

Bruno Schulz was a Polish-Jewish writer and painter who created a unique, mythical world filled with fantasy and grotesque transformations, set in his hometown of Drohobych. His literature and prints are characterized by their exploration of fundamental visions that transcend the everyday through the idolization of women and stylized "masochistic gestures." Although he fell victim to the Holocaust during World War II, ending his short and intense life, his work continues to have a global influence to this day.
