When "Hate" Turns into "Love"
Have you ever had an experience where something you "hated" turned into something you "loved"? Should I call it "something I hated," "something I thought I hated," or "something I was convinced I hated"...
[Reading] and [Idealism]
I was supposed to hate and be bad at both of them. But now, I love them both. And there is no doubt that this change from "hate" to "love" has changed me significantly, and I am currently praising myself every day for having been able to let go of the assumption that I "hated" them.

Long time no see!
Before I knew it, two months had passed since my last post. The Chocozap article I wrote last time ↓↓↓.
Immediately after that, I joined Chocozap, and since then, I have been spending 1 to 2 times a day, 2 to 3 hours a day, at Chocozap almost every day.
Since I hate exercise, I got fired up and said, "For the first month, I will keep going no matter what to make it a habit!" and I have used almost all of my free time for my body transformation plan.
Not only exercise at Chocozap, but also the books and videos I consume are all about diet and health (lol).
Everything is to make this diet the "last diet of my life."
Knowing, being able to do, and doing
These are the words of Shuji Tanaka, the president of OWNDAYS.
The way for anyone to make their dreams come true is, Are you actually doing what you know and are able to do?
To make your dreams come true, you only need to remember three words.
Knowing, being able to, and doing.
During the two months I was away from note, I learned many things from books and videos by various successful dieters, including about strength training and the nutrition the body needs.
A phrase that casually appeared in one of Nakayama Kinnikun's videos.
Any diet that reduces muscle mass is
a total failure
In the past, I have succeeded in losing a significant amount of weight many times. But after a while, I would immediately rebound.
The diets I had always thought were 'successes' were actually all 'failures'.
Every time I dieted, I reduced my muscle mass and ended up creating a body that was increasingly prone to gaining weight.
Honestly, it was quite a shock, but I knew for certain that if I kept doing the same things I had been doing, I would continue to be the same me (the overweight me) in the future.
This is no time to be saying 'I hate exercise'.
My health checkup results showed that both my cholesterol and glucose metabolism levels were in the red, exceeding the standard values.
If I stay on this path, I will drift further away from the 'happy, wealthy person' I aim to be.
Over these past two months, I have 'learned' the correct, healthy way to diet.
And I am 'able' to do it.
And now, I am actually 'doing' it.
I cannot forget that when I had my health checkup a year ago, the words 'You are obese' were printed on it.
You are obese, you are obese, you are obese, you are obese... It kept repeating in my brain.
Every time I eat, I feel guilty, and I'm constantly thinking, 'I'm holding back, but I'm not losing any weight at all.'
I am fat. I am getting fatter and fatter. No matter what I do, I don't lose weight. Even though I've reduced my dinner so much and am always holding back...
I wrote something like this two months ago, but the me of today is completely different.
'I can definitely lose weight. I know it, I can do it, and I am doing it properly. It would be strange if I didn't lose weight with this.'
Now, there is a version of me that can truly think that way.
The words 'You are obese' were so shocking and traumatic that they entered my subconscious in an instant.
You are obese, you are obese, you are obese, you are obese, you are obese, I see, I am obese.
Since then, I have kept telling myself, 'I am obese, I am obese, I am obese, and no matter what I do, I cannot lose weight.'
What canceled out this intense 'You are obese' chant and shattered the belief I had held for so long that I 'hate exercise' was Chocozap, which I joined in October.
Huh?
Exercise is fun.
Why, and on what grounds, did I think I 'hated exercise' until now?
It is strangely fun to exercise at Chocozap.
It's fun! That's why I can do it! I can do it!
'Effort' is [continuing to do] what you [can do]
All that's left is to keep going.
Beyond just Chocozap, I'm also taking the time at home to stretch carefully while following along with videos, massaging my body while soaking in a warm bath and saying, "Good job today," making sure to get the nutrients my body craves, and avoiding putting unnecessary things into my body.
In the over 40 years I've lived, I've never treated my body with such care. It's no wonder I couldn't get closer to my ideal self. I hadn't been listening to my body's voice at all. I'm full of regret.
With that in mind, I intend to keep "seriously facing my own body" at the center of my life for a while longer.
I won't be able to "write" or "read" on note as I have been, but I will definitely not quit note, and just like these past two months, I will come to read your articles a little bit every day. And occasionally, I hope to write articles like this.
I still have a desire to share, so instead of note, I've decided to keep a record of my Chocozap workouts on "X".

For my posts on "X," I asked four fellow note users to draw "me having fun and working hard at Chocozap."
I have purchased the illustrations as NFTs.
note is truly a treasure trove of talent.

Thank you, Kuuya, Shogo, Tanukichi, and Kumai.
As you can see in this illustration, I am enjoying my "Gachi-Zap" every day, so I would be happy if you could support me on "X" if you'd like.

Reading my own article again after two months, I am surprised at how I have become able to naturally write about such trivial, insignificant things as if they were "a big deal."
After all, I'm just talking about how I was told I was "obese" in my health checkup and am simply working hard on a diet, yet I'm adding a famous quote by Shuji Tanaka and making it sound like a huge deal (lol).
I think there are two reasons why people say job hunting is painful. One, of course, is continuing to fail exams. Simply put, repeatedly experiencing rejection from someone is painful.
And the other is having to keep talking about yourself as if you are something special when you are not really that special at all.
A year ago, it must have been painful for me to talk about myself as if I were something special when I wasn't.
As I have continued to share my thoughts, I think I might have actually come to "like" talking as if I were something special.
In any case, I think that having more things you "like" within yourself is directly linked to happiness.
An article I wrote exactly one year ago. My own version of "Someone" on note.
I would be happy if you could read it if you'd like♪
Thank you for reading until the end.
