The world woven with words, and the world of wordless illustrations

Words and illustrations, a harmony of two

I started note because I wanted to write.
From there, my activities unexpectedly expanded into illustration creation.

Spinning what I feel in my heart into words,

and then, also,
coloring it with wordless illustrations.

It is just like lyrics and a melody.
A single resonance that cannot be born from either one alone.

Weaving words to spin lyrics,
and then,
just as a wordless melody colors the words.

Each enhances the other, and a single world is born.

And,
I want to be a writer who moves back and forth
between the two worlds of words and illustrations.

A harmony of two

My illustrations have come to play an active role in various articles.

The illustrations that left my hands and set off on their journey
are now, in "Everyone's Photo," gently nestled beside someone's words.

The prompts that the AI and I layered together.

The story until completion is,

a small memory of"AI, illustrations, and me."

Today, I would like to introduce my illustration activities while looking back on them a little.

Thank you so much for using the illustrations I share in the Minna no Photo Gallery.

It makes me happy to see my illustrations accompanying various articles.
Encountering worldviews different from my own is also one of the things I look forward to.

The number of times they have been used has exceeded 1,000, but I still clearly remember the excitement of receiving a badge when they were first used 10 times.

Even the same illustration shows a different expression depending on the words paired with it. I look forward to such encounters in the future.

🔸Common traits of illustrations that get chosen (my analysis)

I feel that there are several common traits among illustrations that tend to get chosen.

①Everyday scenes (hair salon): Scenes present in everyone's life

②Seasonal feel (iced coffee, etc.): Motifs that evoke the changing of seasons

③Familiar motifs (smartphones, etc.): Easy to relate to one's own life

④Versatility (coffee, etc.): Can accompany any genre

Of course, there are also many illustrations that have never been used.

Even so, creating them just to "get chosen" feels a bit dull,
and I believe that illustrations truly shine only when I enjoy the process myself.

I feel a bit hesitant to talk about it like this, but I'll leave this here as my own personal realization.
