This time, I am delivering a collection of works that thoroughly pursued emo-ness. I have drawn various

emo illustrations before, but I challenged myself to express even deeper emotions.

Five worlds based on emo and faint colors, with an analog feel reminiscent of the 80s and 90s.

Let me talk about the thoughts I put into each one.

1. Afternoon by the Window ~

Relaxing on the bed with a cat, an ordinary afternoon moment is like

a silence where time has stopped. The blue light streaming through the window, the cat snuggling up, the analog camera and player. I drew the luxury of doing nothing

that modern people have forgotten. \(//∇//)\ When you hear 'silence,' you tend to imagine loneliness or solitude, but the presence of this cat makes it work. \(//∇//)\✨ It's a mystery how loneliness stops being loneliness just by having a pet. I tried to express that.
So emo! \(//∇//)\✨

2. Reading Room ~

Reading a book with knees pulled up in a small room, the boundary between concentration and meditation. The figure of sitting in a chair and being absorbed in a book. I have drawn reading scenes in previous illustrations, but this time I was conscious of a more

inward

expression. \(//∇//)\✨ A sense of immersing oneself in a world of just oneself and the book in a small space cut off from the outside world. The green of the plants adds warmth to the blue world, softening the feeling of complete isolation. I like this exquisite balance. So emo! \(//∇//)\

3. Blue Dress Dancing in the Wind ~

A dress fluttering in the wind outdoors, a sense of openness and a desire for freedom. Since my previous works were mainly indoors, I wanted to express the outside world this time. But it's not a simple 'outside,' it's a semi-indoor space surrounded by plants. The dress fluttering in the wind symbolizes liberation from a sense of confinement. \(//∇//)\ The coconuts and plants create a tropical atmosphere, and I think I was able to express a

small escape from daily life

. Emo-ness isn't necessarily just indoors or silence, is it? So emo! \(//∇//)\

4. Morning Routine ~

Drinking water in a stylish washroom, the start of a healthy morning. In this work, I wanted to express

a conscious daily life in an emo way. Even though it's a place with a sense of living like a washroom, it's a beautiful space filled with blue light and plants. The casual moment of drinking mineral water perfectly captures daily life. \(//∇//)\ Surely there is a scale at her feet, and she values her small morning routine. I think I was able to emotionally express the beauty of such time to care for oneself

5. Afternoon, Being Myself ~

Eccentric, but deciding on a style that's uniquely me!
This work depicts a confident woman who overturns the introverted image of 'emo'.
A cap, denim shorts, lingerie, and a dignified standing pose.
The blue worldview of the background also consistently incorporates strength into the emo vibe. \(//∇//)\
The plants and small items lined up on the shelf tell the story of her personality.

The process of building a "
space that values being yourself
" is great \(//∇//)\
'Emo' isn't necessarily just about transience. It made me realize that self-affirmation is also a wonderful emotion. Emo! \(//∇//)\

The Evolved Form of Emo

What I felt through these 5 works is that there is also an evolution in "
emo". Collaboration with AI has added new possibilities to the expressions I have accumulated in my notes so far.
A unique world, silence, and the beauty of everyday life.
These elements remain unchanged, but I feel that the accidental beauty born from the dialogue with AI gives the work

a new depth.
