Good morning!

Yesterday, you know, I was writing the whole time. A year's worth of records.

Sun: 'You were still writing!?(ﾉω・)'

I was still writing. Or rather, I can finally see the end.

Since July 20th marked one year on note, I wanted to preserve that whole year. At first, I started thinking, 'Well, I guess I can just write it in a few chapters,' but

Before I knew it, it had become 10 chapters and 50,000 characters.

Sun: '10 chapters!? That's a book, isn't it〜(ﾉω・)'

It is a book. It's already a book.

An introduction, chapters 1 through 8, and a final chapter. Even I was surprised when I counted them(´▽｀)

I realized something while I was writing.

This isn't a 'how-to' article.

At first, I thought, 'I'll summarize what I did in a year.' But once I started writing, what I was thinking at the time came out more than what I actually did.

The summer I paid 500,000 yen and only made 100 yen in sales. The night I was 200 yen short of 50,000 yen a month. The time I was scared to create a collaborative magazine and was hesitant for so long. The period when I burned out and couldn't write.

Sun: 'That's all heavy stuff〜(ﾉω・)'

It's heavy. Reading it back myself, it was heavy.

But you know, because I wrote all of that, I feel like I was able to reach the final chapter.

So, I'll be releasing it on August 1st

The content is something like this

• 10 chapters in total

• A record of 'what I was thinking' rather than 'how to do it'

• It's not a collection of know-how, but a piece to read to relive a year

So, for those who are thinking 'I want to know techniques I can use right now,' it probably isn't for you. I'll be honest about that.

But, for those who think 'I have no track record and no talent,' 'I've jumped from one side job to another,' or 'I'm bad at social media and don't know how to post,' I think there's something in it for you.

I'm planning to release it at a price of 2,980 yen.

Sun: 'It's a whole year's worth, after all~'

It is a year's worth. I didn't want to sell my year cheaply, so I set a proper price for it.

And, before the record of the year, there is something I want to write here.

The title of the last chapter of the essay is, 'On Note, which I started to avoid people, I was saved by people.'

After I finished writing it, I realized that is exactly what is happening right now, and I froze a little.

Let me introduce you.

Yumemiru Chuji-san

They wrote an article thanking me for the introduction article and theme song I wrote.

In Chuji-san's article, there was this one line.

'The person who knows yourself best is you, but the person who sees yourself the least is also you.'

This was the exact phrase I, as the one writing the introduction article, wanted to be told the most. The reason I read 10 or 20 articles before writing is because this is what I want to achieve.

Also, you wrote that your feeling when applying was like 'doing a triple axel off the stage of Kiyomizu-dera, and throwing in a triple lutz on the way down just to get slammed into the ground,' and I laughed from the morning.

Sun: 'That's way too many jumps! (ﾉω・)'

Yume Suisho-san

wrote some fan fiction for Akarium.

It's a story about her coming to deliver a celebration to the night-time Akarium with Luna-chan.

She has me draw the Fool card, and then Luna-chan and Sun hang up a handmade sign that says 'Night Exhibition Room' in a place I don't know about.

Sun: 'I had a lot of screen time, didn't I? ✨(ﾉω・)'

You sure did. And you were launching rockets, too.

When I lifted the ban on fan fiction, I wrote, 'If an exhibition room that the curator doesn't know about appears on its own, I will gladly go see it,' but...

it really appeared

I almost cried while reading it.

Mitsuki Yurishima-san

This is also fan fiction, and she drew me and Sun.

I couldn't choose between the school uniform and the teacher suit because both looked so good on us.

And in the notes, she wrote, 'It is a feature that the head-to-body ratio becomes unstable as the pages progress,' and...

Sun: 'It's a feature! (ﾉω・)'

It's a feature. I like how straightforward that is.

Also, she wrote, 'It is thanks to you, Akari-san, that I was able to find so many creative friends on note. I'm not exaggerating.'

This is the very reason I created Akarium. I'm happier when everyone connects on their own than when I introduce them.

Reading back on a year's worth of myself is actually quite embarrassing.

But I'm glad I wrote it

Even though I started writing with the intention of counting the things I had 'built up,' what remained in the end were the people
