[Meetup Record 001] Dai-san, the Passionate Educator
Hello, this is Komatsu.
I've been calling for meetups through note and X.
I thought it would be a pretty high hurdle for people to come meet someone they only know from the internet, but someone came right away...!!!
The first meetup participant is,
Dai-san was very soft-spoken and easy to talk to.
He works in education and has a particularly strong interest in the issue of school non-attendance.
He also does personal work, such as consulting with parents who have children who are not attending school.
As for why he participated in the meetup,
"I saw Mushoku-san's repost"
"It just clicked, I came on a whim"
That's what he said.
Actually, he wasn't following me or Mushoku-san; it was really! Just by chance!! He said it started because he saw a post that happened to show up in his feed.
X is terrifying...!!!!
The issue of school non-attendance is deeply related to the connection between mind and body
Dai-san is strongly convinced of this through his own experience.
With that antenna, he has apparently gone to meet people he was interested in online many times before.
The connection between mind and body, and one of its foundations, the "autonomic nervous system."
I think about the connection between mind and body mainly from the perspective of the autonomic nervous system.
Dai-san has such a wealth of experience and knowledge that we were on the same wavelength without needing detailed explanations, and our conversation was very lively.
General Adaptation Syndrome and burnout
Autonomic nervous system and orthostatic dysregulation
and so on.
Education and bodywork—even though the fields seem different at first glance, the origins of the problems people face are similar.
That is why the things that are important for providing support are also very similar.
That is the feeling I get.
Dai-san mentioned that he went to a Hikaru Utada concert last year, and
although I missed the chance to say it at the time,
I went to the same tour too!!
The venue was the Saitama Super Arena.
I was afraid that if I reflexively said 'I went too!!!' I wouldn't be able to stop my excitement, so I missed the timing to say it then. Lol
He said he wanted to try a session, so I performed one for him.
It was his first time receiving bodywork, and he said he doesn't usually have any particular pain or discomfort.
'It's often the people who say that who are actually...'
It is not rare for that to be the case, but
to my surprise...
(In my assessment) Dai-san is managing his mental and physical stress well, and the connection between his mind and body is functioning perfectly!!
That was the result.
In this society, where everyone is constantly covered in unavoidable stress, this is something very precious and wonderful.
Being in a good state yourself is also an important foundation for supporting others, isn't it?
Those who receive support from Dai-san are lucky!

“Something is going to change again”
I am happy that you felt that way.
For me, too, it was a day where things I had long felt interested in and felt a need for were fulfilled all at once:
・Going beyond the fields of health and bodywork
・Connecting with education
It was a day where these were fulfilled all at once.
I wonder if something is going to change for me, too?
Dai-san, thank you for coming and for the fun time.
I have a feeling that this mysterious connection will lead to something.
I look forward to our continued relationship.

↓The wonderful review note Dai-san wrote & the note I like are here↓
A note with a fresh perspective saying, 'You adults who have failed!' It makes sense when you read it.
An unconventional offline meeting that can be held with just one person
