The Complete 30-Day Roadmap to Getting a Job Offer with Claude Code. Breaking Down Parts 81-89 Day by Day [Non-Engineers Welcome]
Many people in their 30s feel a desire to prepare for a career change, yet find themselves stuck after finishing parts 81-89.
The honest truth is that you don't see 'what you should do starting tomorrow, even if it looks useful.' You know that reading alone isn't enough, but with only two hours on weekdays and the weekends available, you can't visualize how to change your future self in 30 days.
The background to this lies in the job market trends. On Forkwell Jobs, there are 47 job postings that require 'Claude Code' experience. The annual salary range is between 12 and 20 million yen (Source: Forkwell Jobs Claude Code Job Postings - Surveyed on 2026-05-10).
The AI-Augmented Product Engineer role at JBCC Corporation offers a range of 7.9 to 20 million yen. It lists practical Claude Code experience as a mandatory requirement.
In April 2026, Mercari began distributing Claude Code to all employees (Source: Mercari Claude Code Organizational Distribution Strategy - Speaker Deck ). The premium on AI-Augmented talent is no longer just a story for a few select industries.
However, there is certainly hope. If you break down the nine items from parts 81-89 into implementation over 30 days at 2 hours per day (60 hours total), you will end up with three working implementations, a portfolio URL, and a rewritten resume. This article summarizes the single path to move beyond just reading and transform yourself into someone who can compete in the job market.
What you will learn in this article
5 deliverables that will be in your hands after 30 days
Goals for every 4 weeks and realistic daily actions
A sustainable time allocation plan using 2 hours on weekdays and 3-4 hours on weekends
3 common points where people get discouraged and how to overcome them
3 paths that will open up after the 30 days are over
What you will have on the morning of the final day, 30 days from now
Before starting the roadmap, I will share what state you will be in after 30 days. This is because if you cannot see the goal, you cannot make the decision to carve out time on weekday nights.
On the morning of DAY 30, you will have these 5 things ready.
The first is a Meeting Minutes Skill (a dedicated AI assistant trained on your business procedures). If you provide a 90-minute meeting recording, you will get back formatted minutes in about 11 seconds (Source: Hakky Handbook 'Increasing Efficiency of Meeting Minutes Creation by 490x with Claude' ).
The second is a PDF/Data Processing Skill. You can summarize a 500-page PDF in 5 minutes and create a cross-reference table for 20 Excel files in 10 seconds. End-of-month aggregation will no longer be a reason for working on holidays.
The third is your own personal AI subordinate. This will be your own agent (an AI assistant that performs tasks automatically) trained on your business emails, meeting minutes, and deliverables from the past 5 years.
The fourth is a working portfolio URL. This is a deliverable that actually works on the screen, which you can paste into the URL field of your resume. You can compete with actual substance rather than just text during document screening.
The fifth is a rewritten resume. This is the latest version that includes 1 to 3 AI-Augmented achievements, complete with quantified numbers.
These are 5 things you cannot get just by reading. To stand here, we will proceed through 4 weeks in order.
The 30-day big picture. Proceeding in 4 weeks
We will divide the total of 30 days into 4 weeks based on their purpose. I have structured it so that you can see 'what should be finished by this week' for each week.
Week 1 | DAY 1-7 | Environment Setup and Work Scene Experience | Claude Code + Cowork Installation / Creating Meeting Minutes Skill | Part 81 - 82 - Part 83
Week 2 | DAY 8-14 | Practical Reproduction and Market Understanding | PDF/Data Skill / Email Automation Skill / Start Job Watching | Part 84 - Part 85
Week 3 | DAY 15-21 | Implementation Specialized for Job Changing | Building Your Own AI Subordinate / Publishing a Working Portfolio | Part 86 - Part 87
Week 4 | DAY 22-30 | Finishing Touches and Job Search Preparation | Mastering 30 Skills / Rewriting Resume / Preparing for Salary Negotiation | Part 88 - Part 89
The premise for time allocation is 2 hours per day on weekdays and 3-4 hours per day on weekends. In total, that is about 60 hours over 30 days. This is a realistic upper limit for balancing job hunting with your current job. I designed it so that you can move forward by accumulating progress on weekdays without cramming too much into the weekends.
Daily Action Table
This is where the main part begins. I have structured the actions from DAY 1 to DAY 30 based on 2 hours on weekdays and 3-4 hours on weekends.
Week 1 (DAY 1-7): Environment Setup and Work Scene Experience
1 | Mon | Install Claude Pro account and Cowork (GUI version of Claude Code) | 20 minutes
2 | Tue | Read Part 82 and apply the 5 differences from ChatGPT to your own work | 30 minutes
3 | Wed | Try simple requests 3 times on the Cowork chat screen (file list/summary) | 30 minutes
4 | Thu | Copy Part 83 and create the foundation for the Meeting Minutes Skill | 60 minutes
5 | Fri | Test run meeting minutes Skill with one actual meeting recording | 40 min
6 | Sat | Adjust meeting minutes Skill + weekly review. Note down points where you got stuck | 60 min
7 | Sun | Adjust schedule for next week. Add 2-hour slots on weekday evenings | 15 min
The biggest hurdle in the first week is the introduction of Cowork (the GUI version of Claude Code that can be operated in a normal chat screen). It costs $20 per month, which is the same price point as ChatGPT Plus. Source: Claude Official Pricing Page.
Week 2 (DAY 8-14): Practical Application and Market Understanding
8 | Mon | Read Part 84 and write out the design for the PDF/data processing Skill | 30 min
9 | Tue | Copy and test run the PDF summarization Skill with one work-related PDF | 60 min
10 | Wed | Turn Excel monthly aggregation into a Skill (using your own work data) | 60 min
11 | Thu | Read Part 85 and write out the concept for the email/Web automation Skill | 30 min
12 | Fri | Create an email priority classification Skill and test run it with 30 unread emails | 60 min
13 | Sat | Look at Claude Code-related job postings on job sites (Forkwell, Indeed, doda) | 60 min
14 | Sun | Aggregate the time saved at work for the week (total of minutes + PDF + email) | 30 min
In the second week, be sure to include a day (DAY 13) to actually browse job sites. If you cannot articulate what the requirements are on the market side, your implementation priorities from the third week onwards will be off.
Week 3 (DAY 15-21): Implementation Specialized for Job Hunting
15 | Mon | Read Part 86 and start consolidating work data from the past 1-5 years into a my-career folder | 60 min
16 | Tue | Write your career summary in CLAUDE.md (a configuration file for AI to remember) | 60 min
17 | Wed | Ask your personal AI assistant to perform a self-analysis and extract 3 strengths | 60 min
18 | Thu | Read Part 87 and decide on the structure of your working portfolio | 30 min
19 | Fri | Have Claude Code build the foundation of your portfolio site | 60 min
20 | Sat | Publish to GitHub Pages, get the URL, and polish the design | 180 min
21 | Sun | Practice pasting your portfolio URL into the URL field of your resume | 30 min
The third week is for handling your past data. Always follow your company's security rules when dealing with confidential or personal information.
Week 4 (DAY 22-30): Finalizing and Job Change Preparation
22 | Mon | Select 10 skills necessary for your job type from the 30 Skills in Part 88 | 30 min
23 | Tue | Run 3 of the selected 10 skills by copying and pasting to test them out | 60 min
24 | Wed | Set up the remaining 7 skills sequentially | 60 min
25 | Thu | Choose 3 scenarios from the 15 in Part 89 that are close to your experience and create Before/After sections for your resume | 60 min
26 | Fri | Rewrite the Before/After sections with quantified numbers | 60 min
27 | Sat | Memorize the salary negotiation script and practice by recording yourself speaking it | 90 min
28 | Sun | Select 3 companies to apply to. Map the requirements from the job postings to your own implementations | 60 min
29 | Mon | Apply to 3 companies. Paste your portfolio URL into your resume and send it | 60 min
30 | Tue | Review the 30 days. Plan the next 30 days | 60 min
The key to this roadmap is to proceed to the application stage by DAY 29. People who wait until their preparation is perfect before applying won't be able to apply even after half a year. The structure is intended to show that working in parallel is the fastest way.
3 common points of failure and how to avoid them
There are 3 common points for people who get stuck on the 30-day roadmap. I will articulate them beforehand.
The first is the point where you get stuck on creating meeting minutes skills on DAY 4. Your hands stop the moment you see something that looks like code. The way to avoid this is to decide that "copying code is fine." Understanding the meaning will come later. If you paste the copy-pasteable prompt from Part 83 directly into your own Cowork, it will work.
The second is the wall between DAY 15 and 17 where you think, "I don't have business data from the past 5 years." In reality, your personal AI assistant will function perfectly well just by collecting emails, meeting minutes, and deliverables from the last year. Don't obsess over 5 years; start with what you have on hand. As the amount you collect increases, the accuracy of your AI assistant will also improve.
The third is the point on DAY 29 where you feel "I'm not prepared enough yet" and stop. This is a moment almost everyone goes through. The way to avoid this is to have the resolve to start applying without waiting for DAY 30. It is enough to keep polishing your resume while watching your application screening pass rate.
3 paths that open up after the 30 days are over
On the morning of DAY 30, with 5 deliverables in hand, there are 3 paths you can take next.
The first is to go full-scale into job hunting. Once the screening process for the 3 companies you applied to on DAY 29 begins, shift your time to interview preparation. Use the following articles for each situation.

Switching to human interviews: 3 Evaluation Axes That Change in Human Interviews
How to organize documents: The Truth Behind the 3 Seconds Recruiters Use to Judge Documents

The second is the path of testing the market through side work. Take on one small project for "Claude Code Utilization Support" on a crowdsourcing site to get a feel for how much the external market will pay for your skills. You will gain a tangible sense of your market value rather than just 30,000 yen in monthly income.
The third is the path of moving into an AI promotion position within your company. Deploy the 30 Skills from Part 88 internally and build a track record as an AI-Augmented promotion lead. Grasping the reality of the salary premium in Spring 2026: The Salary Premium Earned by Job Seekers with AI Skills will provide you with material for internal negotiations.
Whichever path you choose, the 30 days of accumulation will be your foundation.
Summary
30 days x 2 hours a day = 60 hours total. With just this, you will have 5 things in hand: 3 working implementations, a portfolio URL, and a rewritten resume.
In the job market, AI-Augmented talent is starting to command a salary premium of +1 to 2 million yen. Tectonic shifts are already occurring as of May 2026, with 47 job postings on Forkwell Jobs offering 12 to 20 million yen, JBCC offering 7.9 to 20 million yen, and Mercari implementing AI company-wide.
Today is Day 1. Start by installing Cowork tomorrow morning. You will reach a point 30 days from now where your future self will look back and be grateful for the person you are today.
