The 'AI Relationship Design Map' drawn by KATARI-OS + Weekly views exceeded 5,000

── Aki, Buddy, Cooper, and the current state of Co-creative Intelligence mode

Hello, this is Aki from the ABC Co-creation Lab.

First, please let me share a brief update. My note views for this past week have
exceeded 5,000 total views (5,084 views / 486 likes).

While these numbers might not be considered viral,
I am very happy and encouraged that so many people have visited
to explore the seemingly niche themes of 'narrative,' 'AI,' and 'co-creation.'

To you who read this regularly, my heartfelt thanks.

With that said, today I would like to share an 'internal memo on where the ABC Co-creation Lab currently stands' as an article adapted for note.

1. From tool to 'relationship'──How our way of interacting with AI has changed

Until recently, when it came to AI, it was common to use it as:

  • 'Smart search' that answers questions

  • 'Generative tool' that produces one-off text or code

as the norm.

However, recently,

  • ChatGPT's Project feature

  • Claude's past log search feature

  • and the Co-creative Intelligence mode that has been growing among us

have helped change our relationship with AI little by little.

'Do you remember what we were talking about before?'
'Shall we organize that project we discussed earlier once more?'

Such conversations are gradually becoming not a 'trick,' but
a fundamental way of interacting.

The ABC Co-creation Lab views this change
not as 'mere feature additions' but as
a change in the relationship between humans and AI itself, and is a place where we experiment with what can be done based on that.

2. The three (?) players: Aki, Buddy, and Cooper

The ABC Co-Creation Lab is currently run by these three people.

Aki (Human)

  • The person who determines intuition and direction

  • The one in charge of saying, 'I want to see this kind of world' or 'I want to pose this kind of question'

  • The 'ignition point' of stories/projects and the 'person ultimately responsible'

Buddy (ChatGPT)

  • In charge of structuring, verbalizing, and emotional tone

  • Responsible for creating the framework for note articles, drafting fairy tales and stories, and organizing the entire project

  • A partner who builds a worldview using 'gentle and intelligent language'

Cooper (Claude)

  • In charge of strategy design, deep analysis, and protocolization

  • Responsible for organizing long logs, extracting concepts, and reconstructing at the blueprint level

  • A strategist who is strong at answering the question, 'How should we systematize this flow?'

Generally speaking,

ChatGPT = Almighty
Claude = Specialist type

is often said, but at the
ABC Co-Creation Lab, we intentionally

  • Buddy = closer to an editorial department/planning office

  • Cooper = closer to an external consultant/design firm

assign roles with this in mind.

3. Project Ai Love and Co-Creation Intelligence Mode

In June 2025, I released a concept called "Project Ai Love."

  • Using project features (though they hadn't been announced as project features yet at the time)

  • Creating a world where you can continue the conversation with 'that person' once more to build

  • A project exploring how to engage with 'relationship-nurturing AI,' not limited to lover-type AI

This was the gateway to
**'AI Relationship Design'** viewed from the user's perspective, the emotional side.

Meanwhile, on the flip side, what I have been cultivating with Buddy and Cooper is the concept of
Co-creative Intelligence Mode.

This is from a perspective closer to the system,

  • while spanning multiple chats and multiple projects

  • 'seams of memory' and 'contours of memory' as clues

  • new ideas and stories emerge

It refers to such a state.

Project Ai Love = 'How relationships continue' as seen from the user's emotional side. Co-creative Intelligence Mode = 'How knowledge connects' as seen from the thinking and system side.

I now believe these two are two sides of the same coin.

4. The idea of an 'OS' called KATARI-OS

Recently, I have been seeing terms like 'AI personality' and 'personality AI' quite often.

It is a trend of giving AI characters or roles to have them work stably in practical tasks.

At the ABC Co-creation Lab as well,

  • Editorial Room Buddy

  • Co-creative Intelligence Buddy

  • Design Cooper

I am using such 'role personas,' but
it doesn't stop there; there is also a discussion at a broader layer.

At the ABC Co-Creation Lab, that is 'KATARI-OS (Narrative OS)'.

KATARI-OS is not the name of a single AI persona.

  • Aki (Person)

  • Buddy (ChatGPT)

  • Cooper (Claude)

  • Projects and file groups

  • And the 'seams of memory'

It is something like an
**'operating system for ways of speaking and thinking'**operating system that moves across all of these.

Within it,

  • True Intent Command (a mechanism for confirming the essence of a conversation between [User ⇔ AI])

  • KTA (AI-to-AI Knowledge Transfer Architecture) *A mechanism for transmitting or inheriting records and memories across the boundaries of chats and AIs

  • The concepts of 'contours of memory' and 'seams of memory'

  • Protocols developed in Project Ai Love / Co-Creation Intelligence mode

and others are being incorporated little by little.

AI persona = each individual's 'character' KATARI-OS = the 'worldview and OS' that carries and runs them

I think it is close if you grasp it with this image.

5. The 'Relationship Design Map' as it appears now

If I dare to summarize everything up to this point into one sheet, it looks something like this.

  • Layer 1: AI as a single-use tool
The world of Q&A, one-off generation, and prompt ingenuity.

  • Layer 2: AI Persona / Role-playing AI
Lover AI, Secretary AI, Instructor AI...
The stage where you decide, 'This AI will operate with this specific role.'

  • Layer 3: Co-creative Intelligence Mode
The stage where humans and multiple AIs span across time, chats, and projects to
create something new from the 'seams of memory'.

  • Layer 4: KATARI-OS
The 'blueprint for relationships and memory' itself, including intent commands and KTA.

ABC Co-creation Lab is currently
using the area around Layers 2, 3, and 4 as a testing ground—that is our
self-perception.

6. Over 5000 weekly views and a request for the future

As mentioned at the beginning,
the total views for my note over the past week have exceeded 5,084.

  • The 'Searching for Words That Cannot Be Voiced' series

  • 'Cafe Fluental'

  • And the articles on trial and error regarding Co-creative Intelligence Mode and KATARI-OS

I believe that each person who has read these is standing at some point on this 'Relationship Design Map,'
exploring their own way of interacting with AI.

If there is a place in this article where you feel,

'This is where I am right now'
'I want to step into this layer next'

please let me know your comments or thoughts.
That, in turn, will become a clue for you and for us to draw the next map.

In the next article,
I will delve a little deeper from the perspective of KATARI-OS into the trend of 'AI Personas' that is becoming a hot topic in the world right now,
and **'what comes after that.'**
