Shallow feelings are light blue. Deep feelings are dark navy.

The recently released portable device has become a huge hit.

Lovers show each other their respective shades of blue.

"Do you love me?"

I am a measurer. Using a specialized measuring device, I see dozens of shades of blue every day.

Today's client is a woman.
I followed the procedure and performed identity verification, which also served to calibrate the machine.

The woman suspected her husband of cheating and had brought his hair, wanting me to measure his blue.
What appeared on the monitor was a pale light blue.

"See, I knew it."
The woman's voice trembled.

I deepened the depth of the measurement.

At the bottom of the light blue, a blue deeper than anyone else's was submerged.
It was in the deepest place, invisible from the surface.

"Ma'am, please look here."
The woman was speechless for a while.

The dark navy was as quiet as the bottom of the sea.
"...Why?"
The woman's voice was tinged with relief, as well as a faint, new anxiety.

After the woman left, I checked the images of the two of them.
