I find myself watching high school baseball more often than professional baseball.

It is strange, considering professional baseball is undoubtedly more skillful.

High school baseball likely garners higher viewership ratings as well.

This summer, various TV stations were broadcasting high school baseball constantly.

One reason is likely the earnestness of having no next chance.

This also relates to the sparkle in one's eyes.

Are you only thinking about doing your work perfectly?

Is your own sense of desperation being conveyed to others?

Even in romance, when a rut begins, the level of earnestness decreases.

This likely applies not just to sales, but to work in general.

I cannot watch movies, manga, or novels where the story goes too smoothly from beginning to end.

Desperate behavior is often seen as uncool or embarrassing, but it seems that desperation is necessary to move people's hearts.

Looking back, I feel that I was able to achieve top sales in two different industries and get my startup business off the ground because I had that sense of desperation.

During the periods when I was working desperately, it felt like things weren't going well, but the realization that it had turned into results came a little later.

It is ironic that I am only realizing now, after selling my company, that the period when you think 'I'm working so hard... I'm putting in so much effort...' is a necessary process to achieve results.

By the way, I am definitely a soccer fan when it comes to watching sports.
