Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Have the app set to not display image info ("Hide extended details when status bar is hidden")
2. Open a folder of images in Fossify Gallery
3. Swipe two images (no info displayed)
4. Swipe a third one. It contains the undesired info layover.

Expected behavior

No info field when the switch for "Hide extended details when status bar is hidden" is active.

Actual behavior

The info field is annoying and needs multiple taps to remove, only to have it back automatically after three more photo swipes.

It's always only the third one (and following ones) that come in with the information field. v1.7.0 didn't have this behaviour, BTW.

In my phone (Android 11) this issue appers on any number of images, even a single one. Meaning I can't view photos without the filename and buttons overlay, no matter which options I use or if I tap on the image or not.

And as the original reporter (uli-on) has observed, it wasn't an issue in 1.7 to which I have now reverted.
