Your submission at Articles for creation: Nankai Shin-Namba Station (September 13)

[edit]
Draft declined
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, AlphaBetaGamma, left the following feedback:
This draft is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources.
  • Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
  • Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Replace any unreliable sources with high-quality sources. If you cannot find a reliable source for the material, it should be removed.
Baiduwiki is a generally discouraged source and probably should be replaced, although I failed to find a replacement for that. Considering how 2031 is pretty far away, combined with the lack of sources directly talking about the station (unlike Yumeshima Station or Nagano Prefecture Station), perhaps waiting is an option?

Heavy ANI usage

[edit]

Hi SH360, welcome to Wikipedia. I see you're pretty new here, and I also noticed that recently (in the last couple of days), you've been making a lot of edits to administrative spaces (especially to WP:ANI). Can I suggest that you slow down your engagement there, spend more time developing experience with the constructive side of Wikipedia editing, and focus your contributions at ANI on disputes where you have some relevant perspective or information (not just the opinion of a passer-by)? Thanks, --JBL (talk) 14:39, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

"Get rekt" isn't a good thing to add. If you find the need to close a discussion at ANI in this way (which I would avoid doing anyway), "indefinitely blocked" is more appropriate (or at most "indef'd"). (To clarify I'm just adding on to JBL's point, not replying directly.) -- Reconrabbit (talk) 16:46, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
I second the above and was going to leave similar comments myself after seeing the "get rekt", but as I don't have that much experience with ANI, I preferred that an "ANI regular" so to speak left this advice. I also saw that you agreed with a comment I made, I do appreciate it, but personally myself, I do not enjoy participating there when discussing other users and avoid it as much as possible. It's not a nice experience; quicker outcomes and consensus can be found if all discussion participants write concisely and leave as few comments as possible -- less is more in formal discussions. Fork99 (talk) 21:52, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
My bad, I need to stop acting like a big guy when I'm only extended confirmed, sorry. SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 23:37, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your response. It's got nothing to do with your user rights about who is allowed to participate at ANI, you are free to contribute at ANI but the suggestions above are about how and why you participate there. Fork99 (talk) 23:56, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
I want to get in touch with users and help them. SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 04:56, 16 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
You can help users directly in many ways besides using the noticeboards. Reviewing Good articles or Featured articles is one way to engage with other editors by building the encyclopedia. Helping out with wikiprojects in subjects you're interested in is another way. Wikipedia is much different from a lot of other websites these days though - collaboration is appreciated, but it's not social media. -- Reconrabbit (talk) 15:06, 16 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi SH360, I just wanted to say that I agree with the others here about your ANI usage. ANI is not a friendly place and requires a lot of experience in order to be a helpful presence. Often newer editors like yourself will participate at ANI in ways they believe are helpful, but normally will accidentally flare tensions or create confusion. I would highly recommend avoiding participating at ANI for now (unless you are directly involved with the topic at hand). I'm writing this because despite the messages left here, you're still participating a lot in ANI topics, including sharing opinions on areas that you haven't had a lot of experience with. Please take this advice on board and focus on other areas of the project to edit. BugGhost 🦗👻 00:31, 20 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Sure thing. I'll move on to slightly calmer places. SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 06:26, 20 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
@SlapstickHumor360! Given that I have seen you edit at ANI since this notice, I recomend you read Wikipedia:ANI advice. In solidarity, Dafootballguy (Want to talk?) 21:40, 24 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Ah yes, this is the spot! SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 02:19, 25 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Slapstick, why are you still posting on ANI? A lot of people have heavily implied that you should stop. This comment seems pointless and just trying to goad DV. BugGhost 🦗👻 06:56, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'm slowly getting involved in it. I can't resist it. SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 07:46, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Alright then, continue your posts and I'll open a section all dedicated to you. How does that sound? ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 08:58, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
That sounds a bit sarcastic to me. SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 11:09, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
If it is really that serious that you are unable to resist responding to ANI, are you willing to accept a self-imposed block from that page? -- Reconrabbit (talk) 13:32, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
No, I don't accept it. As per my latest comment to the page, I've given a visible paragraph about my acknowledgement of what I've done wrong. I also need ANI to report random vandals in the future, although I think life is like a box of chocolate. SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 13:39, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
You don't report vandals to ANI, you report them to WP:AIV. From what I can see, you aren't adding anything to ANI that other editors wouldn't add anyway. Are you genuine about being unable to stop? This is an important question.
Wikipedia is a social club. Right now, you're annoying the other members, and refusing to listen when they ask you to stop. The usual outcome for this is the newcomer being shown the door. You can continue down this road if you wish, but its destination is already known. EducatedRedneck (talk) 14:12, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
@SlapstickHumor360! I would like to help you before you get banned. What I recommend is that you leave ANI alone. If you find it hard to do, you can ask an admin to page block you. This is in order to help you. You may want to take a Wikipedia:Wikibreak, or focus on some other areas in the project. In solidarity, Dafootballguy (Want to talk?) 21:06, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'll just leave ANI alone. Getting banned isn't what I want to do at all. I want to contribute to Wikipedia, that's why I'm here. I'm still a new user. SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 22:36, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
The "Must report!" part of your signature should be probably removed as well. In solidarity, Dafootballguy (Want to talk?) 22:40, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Why? SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 23:12, 29 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

As per above, I didn't mean to be sarcastic. I was just trying to make amends for my mistakes. I now know that I really need to get my act together and actually contribute to Wikipedia. In solidarity, SH360! (Must edit! Must report!) 05:54, 30 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

I had (and am still having) a similar learning curve. Just letting you know that I’m here if you want some help. (Also got a partial block after idiotic things at ANI, and I don’t regret leaving it.) Article splitting

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from one or more pages into another page without attribution. Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributors.

When copying within Wikipedia, you must give attribution in an edit summary at the page you are copying content to, disclosing your action and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice to place a {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination.

Please add attribution if no one has done so yet. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please repair the attribution. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See WP:SPLIT for guidance on how to perform one. "Shortening article" is not a proper edit summary for splitting, and "Well well well" is not a proper edit summary for the target. I'd advise a discussion h ere, since splitting out only one makes no sense. You should either split them all, or none of them. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 19:33, 20 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

I think you really need to clean this mess up, and the sooner, the better. You've continued to edit elsewhere while this has just been sitting. The main page now has a red link to the article because it was moved to draft space, and the split still hasn't had attribution taken care of. I think the best course would be to revert the split at the main list, and then request a WP:G7 speedy deletion for the draft (maybe explain what happened). After that, you can take the time to figure out the best course forward -- split all, don't bother, etc. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 06:03, 22 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet season 1 moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet season 1, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]

Hello, I noticed you've been moving material between articles as part of a split/reorganization. I suggest you read WP:COPYWITHIN. In short, at a minimum, you need to say which article you've copied from in your edit summaries. The WP:RIA section can help. Thank you – Kodning 🌸 (talk) 11:32, 25 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources

[edit]

As a reminder, raillab.jp is a user-generated source. User-generated sources are generally unacceptable for use as citations on Wikipedia. Please review the guideline at WP:Reliable sources. XtraJovial (talk • contribs) 15:53, 4 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Greetings, @XtraJovial. Yes, Raillab is indeed user-generated, but it's known for storing useful info about the fleets. We use it to track the deployments of the trains, including which lines they're on, and since when they were in that deployment. For example, the Seibu 9000's individual build dates are very limited on reliable sources, but Raillab tells me the specific months the trains were constructed. I clearly stated in my edit summary that there eventually will be an edit war at that specific page. Some people argue that it's September while others argue that it's December. It's generally caused by imbalance of info, and if there were to be one such internal page, it'd be a crucial one in my opinion. SH360! (Must edit! Must chat!) 02:07, 5 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
Can you clarify who "we" is here? Because enwiki generally doesn't use that source -- and it shouldn't. Regarding there eventually will be an edit war, no. Editors engaged in a dispute are expected to seek consensus, and edit warring can lead to blocks. If you can't find reliable sources that support the claims you're trying to introduce, you're better off leaving them out. XtraJovial (talk • contribs) 03:19, 5 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
As for the "we", it refers to the Japanese railfans. I agree that edit warriors are supposed to settle this, and we have 3RR for a reason. SH360! (Must edit! Must chat!) 03:30, 5 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
Maruhachi Kotsu, as you cited at Kamiiida Line, declares itself as a fansite. Again, please review the guideline I linked above. XtraJovial (talk • contribs) 14:39, 7 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
