A thought about CSD

[edit]

Heya, I came across one of your CSD nominations today. If you are nominating a page for deletion because of problematic content, please do not put the problematic content in the deletion reason (or more importantly, in the edit summary), as it defeats the purpose of nominating the page for deletion (and results in more cleanup being necessary to hide those summaries as well). In these cases it is almost always better to leave the page alone and email the Oversight Team so they can deal with it discreetly. Thanks. Primefac (talk) 10:23, 3 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

I hadn't thought about that. Thanks for the message, I'll keep that in mind for the future. QuicoleJR (talk|edits) 12:08, 3 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
