A letter from my friend

My good friend Yin,

I must say that I can conclude that you are an intelligent young man. You have thoroughly articulated all your statements in here and for the fact that English is not your 1st language you have done extremely well. I am not really surprised about that because I have learnt over the years that probably the most determined people in the world are the Chinese. Anything they put their minds to , they get it.

I was born in 1982 so we are probably around the same age. I understand that it could be difficult for your parents especially being farmers to pay for your education in China. Here the farmers are just as poor as over there in China. The government here has no plans for them and any intentions whatsoever to improve their lifestyle. I believe the Chinese government has plans to make life better for the farmers in China because I heard your Finance minister talk about the plans in details and i think its a laudable idea. So, your parents would soon be as rich as the UK and US farmers :).

What does your younger brother do? I have heard and seen the Yangste river on the map. I guess it also extends to the North Korean border, am I right?

I know most of the plants you refer to in your email, I believe you got most of the spelling right apart from the rape, I believe you meant Grape.

Your father's farm must be large to grow all those things. Do you assist in the labor? Does he hire workers during harvest season or is it just the family?

I graduated from University 2 years ago. I did mech engineering. I have a younger sister, she is 4 years younger than I am. She is in her second year Bio-chemistry at university.

What does your younger brother do? It is always hot here because we are in the tropics. But now we have rains because this is the rainy season here but the sun still shines each day very heavily.

I like the new partnership between China and Africa and I pray it comes to be deevlopment for both continents.
