The bitorrent client software allows user to join a 'swarm' of hosts to upload or download files from each other simultaneously.
The final download is made up of file segments which have orientated from a number of different resources who are all members of the swarm.
A user who wants to make a file available for upload will create an identification file called a torrent descriptor and will distribute this by email or given notification on a web page.
The descriptor file contains meta data about the file to made available.
The user will have bitorrent client software and act like an initial "Seeder" by making descriptor file available.
The descriptor file is given to other bitorrent nodes which act as peers or "leeches".
A download can then be instigated at any peer by connecting with the seed and other peers which are in possession of the descriptor file.
The task of distributing the file is shared by a number of peers.
Bitorrent make connections to many computers .
Once a peer receive all the file , it becomes a seeder .
