• Liquid: Spigen's Liquid line provides cases with a small amount of protection, which is perfect if you're not worried about wear and tear but still want something less slippery than the phone to grip. Some Liquid cases are clear, too, so you can see the original phone color underneath.
• Thin Fit / Air: Similar to the Liquid, the Thin Fit fits snugly around the phone but provides slightly less protection than the Liquid. It's mainly for protection against scratches.
• Wallet: This is a Spigen case that can double as a wallet. The Wallet gives your phone some protection while offering a flap to put bank and ID cards in.
• Classic: These Spigen cases resemble Hybrid models but feature a classic design. For example, the current Classic C1 mimics the look of the iMac G3 or the iBook G3 clamshell, with translucent and colorful designs.
• MagFit: This moniker notes that a Spigen case has inbuilt magnets and is compatible with MagSafe chargers and accessories.

I've tried them all, so let's break down what each case model does best and who they're each designed for.

Spigen Enzo Aramid

Spigen's Enzo Aramid case is arguably the most premium line in the brand's portfolio, with a matching price tag. Before deals or discounts, this case will run you about $70. However, you do get what you pay for. This case is constructed using aramid fibers, which are strong, lightweight, and create a seriously attractive appearance. There are metal aluminum accents that make the case pop, like the raised edge that surrounds and protects the camera bump. Metal buttons and a circular Spigen logo on the back add to the premium feel.

Underneath the Enzo Aramid shell, there's a MagFit ring for MagSafe compatibility. This case will feature satisfying buttons for things like the volume rocker or Action button, or cutouts for things like a fingerprint reader or the new Camera Control button on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

You can get Ultra Hybrid cases in a variety of colors and styles, and they usually feature a semi-transparent or fully-clear back. This lets you show off the color of smartphone you picked out, which is always nice. Ultra Hybrid cases can also be configured with extras like MagSafe rings, kickstands, or special designs.

Spigen Tough Armor

Spigen's Tough and Rugged Armor product lines are all about protection. They feature rugged designs and subdued color choices, and are packed with utilities like MagFit and a kickstand. The most recent versions of the Tough Armor case have XRD Foam along the corners for enhanced shock protection. Additionally, the design was refined using artificial intelligence, which identified the areas that needed more protection. All told, it isn't the most stylish, but it's functional and protective.

Spigen Thin Fit & Liquid Air

It lacks features like MagSafe or a kickstand, but makes up for that with a grippy and textured design. For those who want a slightly thicker (but still thin) case, there's the Thin Fit. It's smoother and softer than the Liquid Air, so you won't get as much grip. However, you do get the option of MagSafe support, even in this thin-and-light form factor. This is the subtle option for people who want to keep a low profile. Both the Liquid Air and Thin Fit cases are available in fun colors that should match the look of your smartphone, if you choose correctly.

After trying nearly 100 cases over the last few years from a variety of brands, I ranked Spigen as the best phone manufacturer overall in this year's roundup. Other specialized brands might do one or two things better than Spigen — Otterbox is great for protection, Casetify for custom designs, and Mous for premium materials — no company offers a better value. The quality of case you get, often for around $30 depending on the deal, is superior to anything else available at that price point. For reference, Otterbox, Casetify, and Mous cases can easily cost $60-$100 depending on the model.

Spigen is one of the largest case manufacturers, and it supports a wide variety of phones.
