Now, Samsung is making both of these smartphones more useful by porting over some headline-worthy features from the Galaxy S20 series.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy A71 are receiving updates that add to their overall utility as smartphones. For instance, the new Single Take camera mode lets users capture up to ten seconds of footage with a wide range of capture modes, including Live Focus, Smart Crop, video, and AI filter. Users also get Pro Mode features such as Manual Focus and Shutter Speed control, as well as Night Hyperlapse, and My Filters feature.

The update isn't restricted to just the camera though. It also brings along convenient media sharing features such as Quick Share and Music Share. Quick Share makes it easy to share media with users nearby, while Music Share lets you connect to a user's Bluetooth speaker directly via the user's phone.

The Keyboard and Gallery app are also receiving new functions. Text can now be directly translated from the keyboard tray, and you can undo and redo the most recent keyboard action with a two-finger left or right swipe on the keyboard. The Clean View feature within the Gallery groups up to 100 images that have been shot consecutively into one bundle to declutter your gallery. Quick Crop, as the name implies, lets users quickly crop images when they are zoomed into it and instantly save the edited image within the Gallery.
