The Redmi K20 received positive feedback from the Android community around the world. It is a decent midrange for those who want to pay less for a more than capable smartphone. It offers the Snapdragon 730 SoC, a 4000 mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, a 6.39-inch AMOLED full-screen display, and a pop-up selfie camera. Unfortunately, the Redmi K20, alongside its big brother Redmi K20 Pro, only launched in China. But, the exclusivity didn't last for long. We all knew the rebranded version of these devices would make it into the global market, but the names and dates were unknown at the time. Now we know more details.

Xiaomi just confirmed the Xiaomi Mi 9T exists and there's evidence to suggest it's a rebranded Redmi K20. The date of the launch is June 12th. As far as we're concerned, there is nothing new with the device. It shares the exact same specs and design as Redmi K20. Someone already got the Xiaomi Mi 9T and did an unboxing video on YouTube and the retail packaging leaked on Weibo. You can consider it as close to a confirmation as you'll fet. We also checked the IMEI and the name of the device matches.

It is currently unknown what name the Redmi K20 Pro will have on the international market. Though, there are rumors that it may launch as the POCO F2. I wouldn't place any bets on that one. It is a flagship brother of the K20, featuring specs like Snapdragon 855 and 8GB RAM option. We also don't know the price of Xiaomi Mi 9T. Per my observations, devices in China usually cost slightly less than Europe, so maybe we should expect €300-320 price range. The device will most likely join the Android Q beta program, just like Xiaomi Mi 9 and Redmi K20.
