OnePlus' OxygenOS is one of the best Android skins out there and for good reason. It packs in a good selection of useful features and customization options, while still maintaining a near-stock Android look. Now, in a bid to get feedback from even more users, the company has launched the new IDEAS platform.

As per a recent post on the OnePlus forums, the IDEAS platform will allow users to share their feedback on ways to improve OnePlus products, including OxygenOS, for everyone. Unlike the company's other feedback channels, the new IDEAS platform will allow users to submit their ideas for OnePlus products and others will be able to comment on an idea or show their support by voting for it. The company has already kicked off the global beta run for the IDEAS platform and has invited users to submit their ideas related to software improvements.

If you're interested in submitting a software-related idea on OnePlus' new platform, you'll need to log in to your OnePlus Community account and submit your ideas by following this link. While you're at it, you can also check out ideas submitted by other users and leave your comments to help improve those ideas or like your favorite ones.

The IDEAS program will run from March 5 to April 30, with the review and selection process for ideas being carried out every two weeks. In the first run, there will be a total of 4 rounds and in each round, the top 5 ideas will be selected and ranked according to the total number of likes. Then, the company's OS product team will review the selected ideas, discuss them with uses and reply to the top 5 most liked ideas. In case your idea is picked for adoption, it will then be implemented by OnePlus' software R&D team and you will get corresponding rewards. The awards include:

    • A VIP Ticket to an upcoming OnePlus event
    • Round trip with a one-night accommodation
  • Top 5 Most Liked Ideas
    • 1000 Community credits
    • Customized Community badge
    • A pair of OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2
  • Submitted ideas
    • 20 Community credits (limited to once per day)
