Biography

Tom Brady was a professional American football player Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. was born on August 3, 1977, in San Mateo, California in the United States of America. He was the fourth child and only son of Galynn Patricia (Johnson) Brady and Thomas Brady, Sr. Tom's three older sisters are Nancy, Julie, and Maureen. Tom's father, Thomas Senior is of Irish descent and his mother has of Norwegian, Polish, and Swedish ancestry. When Tom was a kid he was raised with a catholic background.

As a teenager he was able to attend San Francisco 49ers football games and see his hero Joe Montana in action at Candlestick Park. He grew up loving sports, football in particular. In high school he played baseball, basketball and football. In 1995 Tom graduated from Junípero Serra High School in San Mateo. But while in high school he earned the position as the backup quarterback on the Padres JV team. When he first started with the Padres he was not good enough to start on the 0-8 JV team. The JV squad hadn't scored a touchdown all season. Brady's luck turned when the main quarterback was injured and Tom stepped up to play. He became the JV starter in his junior year and held that position until he graduated.

During his senior year of school he realized he was not getting noticed by college recruiters, so he created highlight tapes to send out. It worked and he was getting lots of attention around the country. But during high school Brady was also a great baseball player. He was a left-handed catcher and was a strong player. Major League Baseball scouts were impressed, and he was drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB draft by the Montreal Expos. Despite that achievement Tom wanted to play football instead. He began this career playing in 1995 at the University of Michigan. During his junior and senior years, he interned at Merrill lynch during vacations.

After graduating college Tom was selected by the New England Patriots as the 199th overall pick in the sixth round of 2000 NFL draft. He played his first 20 seasons of his career with the Patriots becoming the starting quarterback in his second year and achieved much success in New England. His accomplishments include earning five Super Bowl wins, the last one in 2017. He is the only NFL Football quarterback with five Super Bowl victories. In addition he was awarded four Super Bowl MVPs and two League MVPs. Brady is considered among the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Tom switched to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and won yet another Super Bowl in his first year with this team.

In his personal life, Tom volunteers his time in multiple ways. He annually rides his bicycle for charity at the Best Buddies Ride in Hyannis, Massachusetts. He actively participates in this program through out the year also. Tom has a child with actress Bridget Moynahan. The couple dated from 2004 until late 2006 when they broke up in December, which was about the time Mkynahan became pregnant. John Edward Thomas Moynahan was born in August 22, 2007 at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California. Brady had begun dating Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen in December 2006, after the couple had been set up on a blind date by friends. Brady and Bündchen married on February 26, 2009, in Santa Monica, California. The couple has two children, a son born in 2009, and a daughter born in 2012. Brady continues to play for the New England Patriots.[1]

"Major League Baseball scouts were impressed and he was drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 NFL draft by the Montreal Expos. Despite that achievement Tom wanted to play football instead." I'm Confused. Did you mean to say MLB instead of NFL

Can someone add me to the trusted list, or to at least the parents? I have done a lot of research on this family tree and there are a lot of gaps on wikitree that I can fill.
