  • How is your organization thinking about semiannual reporting? Take a few minutes to share your perspective: How your organizations will likely approach semiannual reporting Implications for reporting processes and timelines Key stakeholder and disclosure considerations Where you see opportunities or challenges The survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete, and all responses are anonymous. Participants will receive access to aggregated results and peer insights. • What happens when you get the right people in the room? Last week, Pro Groups Live Philadelphia: Adapting to the New Reporting Reality brought together professionals across financial reporting, internal audit, and sustainability reporting for a packed afternoon of discussion on shifting reporting responsibilities and practical AI implementation. The room was buzzing. Conversations spilled past the break, people stayed after the event to keep talking, and there were so many moments of unexpected connection: from “I almost didn’t come, but I’m so glad I did” to “we’ve worked together virtually for years and finally met in person today.” That’s what made this event so special. Not just the content, but the energy, candor, and peer exchange in the room. A big thank you to our speakers, attendees, Philadelphia chapter leaders, and Eliassen Group for helping make it such a strong event. This is what Pro Groups is all about: bringing professionals together to connect, learn, and share. Want to be part of the next one? Join us at an upcoming Pro Groups event https://lnkd.in/gkWkhUg3

  • As the SEC considers the future of Regulation S-K, practitioner perspective matters. To help bring that perspective forward, Pro Groups launched a survey to better understand how accounting and financial reporting professionals are working through these disclosure requirements in practice. What we heard: - 42 practitioners responded - 19 U.S. states and Bermuda represented - Feedback pointed to opportunities to improve clarity, reduce repetition, and make disclosures more decision-useful One theme came through clearly: practitioners are not asking for less transparency. They are asking for more effective disclosure that better serves investors while reflecting the realities of preparation and review. Those insights helped shape the Pro Groups comment letter submitted to the SEC. This is one of the ways Pro Groups works to elevate practitioner voices on issues affecting the profession.
