Error description

  • This APAR introduces support for SQL-format advanced object
    filters.
A new value for the Object filters is now available on "Generate
Database Activity Report (General)", "Generate Database Activity
Report (Details)", "Process Archived Output" panels. When the
Object filter is set to "S" (Advanced SQL Filter), the new
"Advanced Filters (SQL)" panel will be shown for filter
specification. On the "Advanced Filters (SQL)" the user can
specify the "Where" statement and also open a new panel to
define Include/Exclude columns for each object.

The WHERE clause supports comparison operators (=, <>, <, <=,
    >=, >), IS NULL, LIKE, BETWEEN, IN, NOT, and the proprietary
CHANGED / NOT CHANGED operators. Supported column types include
SMALLINT, INTEGER, BIGINT, FLOAT, DECFLOAT, DECIMAL, CHAR,
VARCHAR, GRAPHIC, VARGRAPHIC, BINARY, DATE, TIME, TIMESTAMP, and
TIMESTZ. LOB, XML, and user-defined data types are not
    supported.
The WHERE clause is parsed and evaluated internally by the Log
Analysis Tool it is not passed to Db2.

Column-level filters are applied at the detail report level.
At the general report level, only the table name filtering is
applied, so general/summary reports may reflect a broader result
    set.

The FILTERS DD will contain the following section when the
SQL-filters are specified on the panel:
    //FILTERS  DD *

    GENERAL FILTERS...........

    SHOW UPDATES =Y
