Error description

  • Customer tested transmission of Generic Job Output (JOBDD) to
    Splunk.
    In the .cdp file created by datareceiver there are several
    unnecessary  \u0000 strings.
    This causes unnecessary volume of data and difficulties in
    parsing the log from Splunk side.

    Invalid \u0000 characters are displayed in Splunk when streaming
    Generic Sysout data to Splunk via Data Receiver. The HEC user
    will not be affected.
    

Problem conclusion
