Error description

• This APAR includes fixes to various defects identified in CICS
  Explorer 5.5.0.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• - The Security Discovery editor is unable to read external
  security manager (ESM), security discovery data (SDD) & SDM
  files from USS (UNIX System Services) directly using the
  existing FTP interfaces in CICS Explorer.
  - The security discovery editor is unable to write ESM, SDM and
  diff report text files to USS directly using the existing FTP
  interfaces in CICS Explorer.
  - IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty requires an update
  to a newer version.
  

Problem conclusion

• - Support has been added for the Security Discovery editor to
  read ESM, SDD & SDM files from USS directly using the existing
  FTP interfaces in CICS Explorer.
  - Support has been added for the Security Discovery editor to
  write ESM, SDM and diff report text files to USS directly using
  the existing FTP interfaces in CICS Explorer. This does not
  replace the existing ability to read/write these files from/to
  the local file system, but if an ESM or SDM file is read from
  USS, then subsequent reads and writes for that model MUST be
  to/from USS, and the model data read from USS cannot be written
  to the local file system. By using this approach, the RACF and
  related data is not written to the local file system of the
  workstation running the CICS explorer.
  - IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty has been updated to
  26.0.0.3.

  This fix will be made available in Version 5.5.54 (34.0.11 and
  3.3.0.20) of the CICS Explorer.
