IJ53157: CICS EXPLORER HAS INCORRECT TYPE FOR "NATURE" AND "DEVICE" TERMINAL FIELDS

Error description

• When trying to filter the CICS Explorer Terminals view by field
  "Nature", the input field presented is a text field but this
  field should be a selection box not free format text field. The
  "Device" field displays the same way.  This is related
  to the changes that will be instituted in the CICSPlex SM by
  APAR PH64449.

Local fix

Problem summary

• When trying to filter the CICS Explorer Terminals view by field
  "Nature" or "Device", the input field presented is a text field
  but both those attributes are enums, so they should offer a
  drop down selection box instead.
  
  The "Nature" field is also missing "REMSESSION" as one of the
  available values.
  
  CICS Explorer will be updated in APAR IJ53157. To use the
  "Group By" capability for TERMNL resources, both
  CICS Explorer APAR IJ53157 and CICSPlex SM APAR PH64449
  must be applied. Note that using "Group By" requires the WUI
  region be running the CMCI JVM server EYUCMCIJ.
  
  If IJ53157 is applied prior to this PH64449, then CICS Explorer
  may issue an error when using "Group By" with TERMNL resources:
     GraphQLError [message=Validation error (FieldUndefined@[cicsp
     lex/cicsResources/termnl/aggregateRecord/nature/unspecified])
     : Field 'unspecified' in type 'StringAggregationType' is unde
     fined, locations=[Location [line=1, column=nnn]]]
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS Explorer's Terminals view has been updated to now offer
  "Nature" and "Device" as options in the drop down selection box.
  "REMSESSION" is now also available as an option in the drop
  down selection box.
  
  This fix will be made available in Versions 5.5.40 (34.0.2),
  5.5.41 (33.0.12) and 5.5.41 (32.0.8) of the CICS Explorer.
