CBSE Class 9 Social Science Project Work ( 5 Marks)
- Every student has to undertake one project on Disaster Management on a compulsory basis.
- The main objectives of giving project work on Disaster Management include:
- Creation of awareness in them about disasters and their management.
- Preparation in advance to face adverse situations.
- Ensuring participation in disaster mitigation plans.
- Enabling them in creation of awareness and preparedness among the community.
- Project should help in enhancing the life skills of the students.
- If possible various forms of art should be integrated in theproject work.
The distribution of marks over different aspects of related Project Work are as follows:
