You can turn your PowerPoint presentation into a video file (MP4 or WMV) that includes animations, transitions, narrations, and timings. This makes it easy to share with people who may not have PowerPoint.
Steps to Create a Video from PowerPoint
Step 1: Open your presentation and save it first (File and Save the presentation).
Step 2: Go to File select Export and choose Create a Video.

Step 3: Choose the video quality:
Quality | Resolution | Best For |
|---|---|---|
Large | 1280 × 720 | Computer & HD screens (highest) |
Medium | 852 × 480 | Web / DVD (balanced) |
Small | 424 × 240 | Portable devices / smaller file |

Step 4: Choose whether to use recorded timings and narrations:
- Use Recorded Timings and Narrations: Recommended if you have already recorded narration or rehearsed timings.

- Don’t Use Recorded Timings and Narrations: PowerPoint will use a default time per slide (you can change the number of seconds).

Step 5: Click Create Video.

Step 6: Enter a file name, choose a location, and select the format:
- MPEG-4 Video (*.mp4)
- Windows Media Video (*.wmv)

Step 7: Click Save.
